Wowza! 10 grand. I'm not sure if I would do that even if I had a surplus of money. Too risky, IMO.

I imagine the only people with large investments are early adopters. As time goes on, I imagine that might change.

I wouldn't consider joining mid May as "early adopted" but I did put in more than $10k

bitcoin is a very risky investment. buying 10k now could have you broke next week. The long term potential of bitcoin value is not certain by any means. Supply & Demand, as it is now there will be more supply than demand = lower bitcoin values.

I have $30-$40k invested in hardware to generate bitcoin. But at the prices I pay for my hardware, it's very low risk. I can resell it all for about what I paid.

Plus NMC is free, and I figured I might as well Mine SC with my CPU's.

I earn only $50k a year from my job, and $40 a day from mining.
