About time one might think, the law against it was removed during the 80's IIRC, at the same time homosexuality became legal.
Having sex with animals will become illegal in Sweden the first of April. Today it's only illegal if the animal takes damage from it in any way. The penatly will be fine or prison up to 2 years (which in Sweden usually is 1 year with good behaviour).

Yeah, been thinking about this myself - I've been to the weird site of the internet and the vid I saw the dog didn't really seem to suffer from it... On the other hand it could have been pumped with sexual enchancement drugs, who knows. But if it isn't drugged I see no harm, however it's pretty backwards to have it legalized either way. |

Not that I know off, it is really rare. The animal protection thingy has gained 227 reports in 35 years.. So the law didn't really matter much either. |

I personally don't think the law will change anything, those who didn't
have sex with animals ( the majority, the normal people ) will still not
have sex with animals, and the people who used to will most likely continue.
It's nothing you do in public anyways I would guess, and if you're molesting
your dog in your home a law won't change that.
Then again why would it be legal, it's disgusting, sickening, and plain wrong.

Yup, it's like when they outlawed illegal downloading. Like 90% between the ages 13-50 still download illegally because the chances of getting caught are sooo slim. They have made a few examples taking down 3-4 hard working people or so with insane fine amounts. And they have spent millions and millions on anti piracy bureaucracy... Shit's so corrupt.. |
