This morning I got 3 more identical emails, only from different people.  I deleted all 3 right away, but I’m assuming that none had return email addresses.  I have a program that lets me see my email on the server and delete or bounce it without ever downloading to my computer so none ever reached my computer.  Is this guy that stupid, or has he shared this with others?

This is a pure scam because scammer is playing with Ur fear and he is trying to do blackmail so u send bitcoin to him, wait and don't fear he is just playing from Ur emotions. that scammer can't access Ur emails and other personal details because most of scammers send these kind of emails to peoples, they collect information of that peoples who are connected with cryptocurrencies.

Well, I got the 4th one of the day just now.  In the program I have that lets me look at email on my server and delete without ever downloading to my computer, it let me look at the headers.  Below  the asterisks are some of the headers with the return email addy.  This time I left the Bitcoin link in tact.  I’m getting rather sick of this.  This makes a total of 5 times I’ve received this email, one when I started this thread and 4 today.

It seems that, (****************), is your password. You may not know me and you are probably wondering why you are getting this e mail, right?

in fact, I setup a viruses over the adult vids (adult) web-site and guess what happens, you visited this web site to have fun (you really know what I am talking about). During the time you were watching videos, your internet browser started out working as a RDP (Remote Desktop) which gave me accessibility to your screen and web cam. from then on, my software programs obtained all of your current contacts from your Messenger, Outlook, Facebook, in addition to emails.

What did I actually do?

I made a double-screen video. 1st part shows the recording you were watching (you've got a good taste haha . . .), and Second part shows the recording of your webcam.

exactly what should you do?

Well, in my opinion, $1000 is really a reasonable price for our little secret. You will make the payment by Bitcoin (if you don't know this, search "how to purchase bitcoin" search engines like google).

Bitcoin Address: 1Cft34zDzUDJpr1ze23HtJdW2ohdp3xXu
(It's case sensitive, so copy and paste it)

Very important:
You've one day in order to make the payment. (I have a unique pixel in this e-mail, and at this moment I am aware that you have read this email message). If I don't get the BitCoins, I will certainly send out your videos to all of your contacts including relatives, colleagues, and so forth. Having said that, if I receive the payment, I'll destroy the video immidiately. If you'd like evidence, reply with "Yes!" and I will certainly send out your videos to your 6 contacts. It is a non-negotiable offer, that being said don't waste my personal time and yours by answering this message.

Did you buy it? It's obviously scam, they are trying to take advantage your possible shameful history on internet. Don't give them a chance to do that. As some people said you must stop to use sites its passwords are disclosed.

There are lots of scams becaus it is easy to steal cryptocurrencies and I think it is worse than hackers, hackers at least find vulnerabilities in the system  Smiley

I also got the same e-mail but I didn't bother because I know that its a scam. Actually it gave me a good laugh because I know that I didn't do anything wrong (not watching porn) and I'm very careful because of of many hacks that's going on right now specially if you are involved in crypto. Yes I didn't give them the chance and I immediately permanently deleted it.

This is amazing. Scammers looking for new ways to scam people day in day out. People will never use their time profitably to earn for themselves, They would always want to rip people off their hard work earnings. It is good you realised it is a scam and that you have again sought people's opinion about it.

Its funny that most of these scams talk about people watching porn rather than doing any illegal stuff. Criminals proudly wear their crimes on their sleeves but people who watch porn mostly do it privately and don't like their actions being made public.
In olden days, blackmail only used to happen for sizable amounts and criminals asked for wire transfers. Bitcoin has just enabled micro-payments for blackmailers.

Were you j**king off behind your computer? Cheesy Because that's the only embarrassing moment one could have while watching porn, Shame on you for visiting such websites and shame on the stupid hacker for being such an idiot not knowing that you don't have any camera/messenger/Outlook. Ignore them, Change your passwords where you have used the same password on different forums and stop watching porn all together.

You should know that people use bitcoin for all sorts of things such as contract killing/Extortion etc, They also use fiat but bitcoin is easier to use. If you know that they have nothing on you then it's for the best just to ignore them and move on.

This is one of the actions that will bring down the good name of Bitcoin which is currently developing for the better in the future. Of course we must act decisively! So that all Bitcoin users will become safer in the future. And we must continue to be vigilant, and also be careful in safeguarding the Bitcoin we have today. Hopefully all these unfavorable extortion actions will be resolved soon.

Didn't you read what I said? People already use bitcoin for their criminal activities, It's safe and it would be very difficult to track down the transactions to catch them. This is already a part of bitcoin, Nothing like this could ever bring down the system.
Some stupid kid got his hands on some password from some easy to hack forums and now they're trying their luck, Someone would either pay which would be good for the stupid kid or they wouldn't pay.
Even this forum was hacked at some point and all the emails/password hashes were leaked, Forum admins are people too, They could just sell your email and passwords to someone interested in buying them.

He is fishing, I am sure that he has sent this email on million+ addresses. In the sea of those,  he might find someone who is watching adult movies and is doing some nasty stuff while watching. Getting scared by just thinking of possibility that it could happen as it's said in the text, those people would pay required amount. I don't know if it is possible for some hacker to do such a thing but I like to believe that it is possible. As you said you don't have FB, messenger and from there you can see that it is template message that is sent randomly.

Bitcoin is available for everyone who has internet access. With regards to this, both legals and illegal activities can be done with bitcoin and other activities. This means as a bitcoin user, you need to be very vigilant so that poeple do not take advantage of you. You can lose a huge sum of money if you victimise yourself.

the guy must have collected some btc which triggers this  motivation of his. so he spam all those who he thought has done something in the porn sites. if you have done nothing, you shouldn't be worrying about that blackmail. i was surprise there are still users reading emails. if you are going to register to some sites you think isn't very important, use your alternative email which is intended for it.

This act is getting rampant due to the fact that BITCOIN  is gaining more and more attention everyday. Every now and then we should ready to receive these kinds of email. Wicked minds have a wide range of ideas to deceive people. Just put extra precautionary measures to identify those kinds of tricks.
