Bearish of BTC happened due to many economical and political effects happened against it so the demand that Bitcoin had in the past has decreased for some extend but it is gaining slowly little by little but to recover fully it might take more time than we anticipated because the drop was much bigger in the past and for this day many people ha left the BTC market and some even left the entire crypto market by selling there assets and even Bitcoin is attracting new comers it might take some time to get normal

Due to some but considerable negative effects happened in last period such as , Government restrictions against Bitcoin, Banning, Criminal activities using Bitcoin, Panic token holders and other false rumors that made ridicules accusations against Bitcoin 

Although we are facing such problems for a long long time where bitcoin managed to survive and I am hopeful that it will even survive in more critical condition, but in current time I think that the reason for the decrease of bitcoin price is because of some bad news that are wondering in the market.

There are many reason's when bearish trend of btc panic sell or no adoptions continues. Once more adoptions and demands obviously price could increase. Well hopefully there is good news happen that marker can enter into bullish trend.

It look likes that my view and perhaps the view of everyone in this forum will have the same expectation of 'good information who comes to cryptocurrency' only that will cause the cryptocurrency to have a bullish market. January was the beginning of the cryptocurrency market with a bearish trend, various governments and other negative information that came to cryptocurrency, causing a drastic decline. Apparently, there are still many opportunities for cryptocurrency to rise in price and there are still many opportunities for cryptocurrency to experience price reductions, a technology will always be tested.

I am a firm believer that the reason why bitcoin hasn't gone up in price for the past 9 months is the whales making a great return from the short futures. That is my idea and I can not know for sure if it is true or not and I keep checking the short prices and how much it has been invested and sometimes when bitcoin is going down the number of short futures sold increases but honestly sometimes it doesn't budge so I keep saying there is a correlation but maybe not as much as I believe.

We do not have a proof of a reason for sure and we can never know 100% the exact reason but I believe people are making money while keeping bitcoin low which could be the biggest reasoning for not going up.

The reason should be obvious after a bull market a bear market appears that is just the way it is, the market can move in three ways, it can move close to a price, it can go up significantly like in a bull market or it can go down significantly like in a bear market, most of the time markets do not move as much but then out of nowhere a bull market will appear but since its impossible for the price to go up forever then a bear market appears.

Yeah you are 100% right, those are only big investors that manipulate the market and set the price according to their well and the management can do nothing against this. Whales are eating and sucking small investors and that’s why investment cap in bitcoin became low and so is the price. With constant price people would be not interested in such a risky investment.

There is no one exact reason for that this was happen due to many like political pressure to Bitcoin, lack of business adaptation in Bitcoin as a currency, Panic selling among new and inexperienced investors or traders, less trust about crypto market among investors and mainly due to the market manipulation was done by large scale investors who are trying to buy Bitcoin for less price by making holders deceive into thinking Bitcoin will crash. These all can be the reason of decline in price but the major issue is of the demand rate and not all these things really matters. In summary, no one knows. As far as I am concerned, a lot of reasons could have caused the downtrend, but I am pretty sure a lot of it was totally as a result of manipulation of the price upward.

Nothing was meant to drive demand the way it did last year, no serious news to have caused such huge adoption, new people just simply started FOMOing because of all the media wanted them to know about how people are getting rich and in that case, they wanted to get rich fast as well. Unfortunately, panic set in when the whales started their course downward for a lot of the weak hands. Every other explanation is just people trying to find a reason but in reality this was bound to happen.

This is what in my mind, because there is no major news about bitcoin and yet the price continues to drop. Whales are really trying to manipulate the market so they can buy more when people are already panicking. Political effects? I really do not see much of a political effect dropping the prices badly and whatever you must have heard in the news, even though could have added a little bit to the downtrend as a catalyst, the downtrend was just something that was inevitable from last year's bull run.
First, before you tend to see a bull run, it is best to ask yourself what instigated it in the first place. In this case, i would say greed did and for that reason, we are where we are now. As simple as that. Many people do not understand how steady growth can sometimes make more sense than just some crazy spikes.
