Bitcoin has to step up as the new coins are offering better products. I know the core team behind Bitcoin can do this. They are composed of brilliant people. I shared with the same opinion. Its a no and will not lose a market share since its the pioneer crytptocurrency and still it has a loyal follower. It can share its marketshare to some crypto but bitcoin will remain in my opinion.

I also think bitcoin possible to loss its market share but it takes a long period of time because bitcoin are usually popular than others on which most of the people already knew and invested on it and the government in the different country started to make a law that making it legal that everyone can be easily to use it in their daily life.

Yes, in the past we have seen many examples that being first does not guarantee that it will always be number one for always. BTC might be an exception in this case if it keeps making new advances in its technology. this way it will always be ahead of others.

It is pretty early to say that bitcoin will lose its market share due to its obsolete technology. Still the crypto world can be considered in its early stages only. Many new altcoins have been developed which are far more advanced than bitcoin. However, investors has not lost their confidence in bitcoin. If bitcoin manages to update its technology that becomes comparable to that of altcoins, it will surely remain number one only.

I disagree, bitcoin might be old but it's not obsolete. It's not gonna lose it's market share
at all, volatility is an impending and defining factor with bitcoins and cryptocurrencies.

maybe, I don't know what will happen in the future especially in terms of IT technology. but bitcoin has a strong influence in the investment industry even though its value for now falls deeper. there are many crypto experts who predict that in the future bitcoin will increase even higher

It is theoretically possible that anyone can come up with an equivalent or more user base, market volume, utility value and price to replace the Bitcoin. There are many good coins out there but as of now, I don't see any coin having that potential to replace Bitcoin at least in the next 5 to 10 years from now. Bitcoin is a dominant currency in the crypto sector and I don't see any reason for it, not to.
