This is so true. Nokia lost the market because their products were old and they did not try to compete with the current market whereas crypto industry is totally new and so is Bitcoin. Nokia fell because of lack of inventiveness. They kept producing the same phones. It was their fault. But for bitcoin, its not the case, new updates do come up regularly like segwit, LN and Core gets updated frequently too. You are wrong where you say that bitcoin technology is old. There is something wrong with this analogy. number of supplies of bitcoin and the demand of consumers. The supply is getting thinner and thinner and as much as altcoin born and being promoted as bitcoin killer, it won't because as time passes by, the price will continue to grow no matter what people will says.

I highly doubt any coin can displace Bitcoin as the top crypto currency.  First mover advantage is huge and bitcoin is the only crypto coin that most people know.  BTC also has the most secure network with the massive amount of electricity that is used to mine .  The only thing that scares me is if governments try to establish their own crypto coin and displace bitcoin, but I don't think they will be able to.

it's not a good comparison, because bitcoin still has the largest community of contributors and coders, therefore it has the best potential to improve. That is also the reason why implementing changes can be challenging

Before commenting anything about the bitcoin, I think we all should know that bitcoin is a kind of investment and any investment is subject to any kind of market risk including ups and downs and apart from being a kind of investment, bitcoin is also volatile in nature and this volatile nature also plays a very crucial role in flactuation of bitcoin so if the current valuation of bitcoin is low, then it doesn’t mean that bitcoin will lose its market share and will shut down.

Yeah, Nokia failed when Apple joined the phone market and. That's true. But there are still a lot of examples showing the late companies go bankrupt due to being unable to compete with the old one. You can't compare Nokia with Bitcoin, they are not the same.
