How about something different?

This Latin word "Veritas", means truth.
Or "Socius", which means sharing.
Or "Civitas" which means community.

are these 3 different name suggestions, or do you intent some sort of combination? like VSC

They were three seperate name suggestions, but coming up with a 3 word Latin Motto where each letter becomes the ticker for the coin is actually a clever idea.

Sort of like how University mottos work.

Anyone who wants to claim that they invested can confirm their spot by sending or receiving a small amount using the same wallet.
Even better: Look into "signing messages"

The owner of the sender address private key
can sign a message (e.g. the transaction ID)
which only
the owner of the sender address private key
could have have signed with that outcome.

(sorry for that snake sentence, but it's true)

bumface: Please hold an open donation wallet, too - could you post an address here?

That gives people a chance to donate to a "loss compensation fund".

And perhaps "Stack-Coin" even wants to donate some himself, when he wakes up and realizes what a poor soul with rich wallet he has become.

I want to get into this. I want to help. I am not a Dev. I cant Code, but I am ready to help and maybe even take responsebility for this project. People that have been scammed should get their money back. I am even ready to slow down my own coin called SnapCoin to get money and people for this.

I will setup a wallet made for donations for this project using SnapCoin as payment currency.

SnapCoin just needs a exchange so we can start to get the money flowing for people.

I really hope that the people that got scammed are able to rise back up!

Add me on skype hamukione if anyone is interested in starting this project up for real.

Thank you for reading.

Unfortunately we are just in our humble beginnings. We have managed to consistently make currencies in our test environment but so far this would hallmark our first project.

As soon as you guys agree on specifications we will work on generating sources and binaries to you for you to evaluate, or whatever process the team behind this coin desires.

We need to make sure to implement an anti-scam system in our coin development and premine distribution strategy.  It should all be transparent.

We can focus partially, in terms of innovation, as an anti-scam coin.  So that it will never happen again.  I think IPOs are sometimes good, but we need better systems in place.

I was scammed out of 2.039 BTC, investor #20. I can verify this with the wallet I sent the investment with.

I wrote the appeal to Cryptsy for stackcoin, I promoted stackcoin through twitter, and I brought stackcoin to the attention of Lazycoins. I would be happy to promote a successor to the now infamous stackcoin in the same way.

With my help, a lot of buzz was started about stackcoin and I feel that I helped draw in many investors who would've never invested in the first place. I would love to help with a legitimate coin.
