Whatsminer DCR 44TH

Hi guys,

I am looking what to mine and bumped into Whatsminer DCR, with claims of 44TH/s. That is 10-20 times more powerful DCR miner than anything out there at the moment while maintaining the same consumption of around 2200W. Am I missing something here, or should we preorder?

this is an alt coin question  you are in wrong section.

pangolin sold me an M3 that I did a youtube video on.
pangolin is going to sell me an M10 for demo purposes.

So to answer one part of the question they do sell gear and deliver it.

This is a Nov ship time it is really hard to make money on those types of purchases.

most people lose on long preorders waits.  This is 80 plus days from now.

The DCR is indeed more powerful and efficient than any Decred miner right now, but I agree with Phil that the wait time is pretty long and anything could happen with profitability, difficulty, etc before then. Most of the risk lies in the time before the miner's shipped, as there will probably be more Decred miner developments before this thing is shipped out. It's up to you in the end, but most people here don't like long preorders, and I don't either.

if I wanted to mine dcr I would buy it from him but I would really not order gear for November it is a long ways off

Why the difference in price? Is the warranty length different?
