Holding is the best strategy for me that I applied, I have token that I bought on the hype and up until now, it does not recover. The token is sleep for several months from now. O just keep it until it become profitable. I was deceived by the hype that's why I just keep my token at the exchange waiting for the right time.

I will use all strategies depending on the current market situation. holding for coins that will potentially rise. selling for coins that have reached a certain price and already profit.

You find a coin, which only recently fell due to correction, although before that, it grew confidently. You buy, you wait, when you get to earn at least 10% of the deposit - you sell, you go look for the next one. Hold strategies.
I'm not engaged in daily trading, there is no desire. You need to lose money to understand the market and learn not to be greedy. And now I do not want to lose money)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Most of the time when I buy it I don't do anything.
I will choose long-term holding, because I am not good at day trading, so I think long-term holding will bring the best benefits.

I sell when I see profitable. The hold to sell the highest price is extremely dangerous and risky. Just as you wait and buy coin at the bottom.

I won’t really say I’m an investor but my strategy is very simple and plain

I sell the huge pumps and buy te dumps
In other words, but the rumour and when the news comes around. Do ensure to sell the news and take in your profit

The problem is you may be thinking an huge pump is over, then you sell, and it goes %100 from there. This happened to many people that sold at around $7500, which was the expect best possible scenario in 2017 by some traders with big followings like Tone Vays. Needless to say these people now hate themselves since they missed the peak to $20k.

Of course this is all very difficult to time. You just can't know where the limit of a bubble is, it is a gamble, so I don't see why you necessarily have to sell, just sit through it, and you will also save a ton fo tax-related headaches.

If with Bitcoin timing peaks is a bubble, imagine with altcoins, it is a total casino. So stick to Bitcoin and buy the dips. Even if it goes lower that where you buy at, you know you will not be holding a deprecating bag, contrary to what happens with 99% of altcoins.

The market is experiencing unstable fluctuations, fluctuations are low but increases and decreases irregularities making it unstable. So I have a stupid strategy, I will buy it when it starts to fall lightly and wait for it to rise again. I will sell them because of this time of rising and falling abnormally.

There were so many strategy when it comes in selling the first is when the bitcoin's value decreases and the altcoins value increases estimate the loss bitcoin value then consider the value of token that you are selling then buy again. That is the common strategy that I am doing everytime bitcoin drops.

I am definitely holding up,  what I mean by that is u have a long term view of the market and at the same time interested in short bargain and margin profit that increase my main holding in the long term.

in my opinion there is no guarantee that ATL and ATH will occur in the crypto market. for me there is no definite system, everything is just a prediction. the system that I use is sold when I make a profit, and forget when prices fall, hoping that prices will increase soon,

So do you have a detector to detect when the price of the coin will reach all time high? I think the best way to go about it is buying at dip and selling when the market recovers from a major dip and makes some gain.

You need to weigh the tokens you have.
what are their plans? their future? exchanges?
their project development and everything on their roadmap.
is the token worth to hold?

like other peoples I also want to hold my coins for long term but in my previous experience I learned that we have to sell our 50% portfolio when you observe that coin is better than ICO price & hold 50% on long term risk, which is normally give you profit only rare cases it’s value goes down.

Is there a simple way to know if bitcoin is on its all-time high? Can you share some indicator? I know that it will need technical analysis, but a way to start is a great reply.
An ATH is the highest price the coin has ever achieved since its inception. Bitcoin's price is currently about a third of the ATH price which was about $20000 earlier this year. The easiest way is just to check Coinmarketcap for the ATH

For all the replies thinking I meant day-trading, that assumption is wrong. Quite the contrary I'm all about holding. I only use ATHs as a somewhat safe indicator for selling. My reason being that no matter how high it goes, there must be a drop. Th drop doesnt necessarily have to be huge, but a drop all the same, and that drop is always going to be lower than the ATH you sold at. So it allows an investor to do the most profitable aspect of investing which is buying low to sell high, or selling high to buy low later on.
