There is no need in using them right now, when it become completely clear that ratings are not able to help you to attract some additional audience.

During 2017, several hundreds of projects came out at ICO, and dozens of them are already bringing a decent profit to their investors. However, in order to become a successful cryptoinvestor, it is necessary not only to be well versed in the subject, but also to have a favorable market situation, which is absent today.

I have not invested in ICO for a long time, so I do not visit these sites. Previously, I did not believe them completely and tried to independently analyze the project.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

Every rating wants to get aproximately 1 BTC for priority view in search results. They will never check where this money came from, they just need to make profit.

I think rating ICO is not good factor to identify the good one.many have to be considered if you want to invest in ICO, rating on the Website is only one of them.If the special sites - they would not believe I did not advise. However, for example, in telegram channels people usually express their sincere opinion. But in general, always remember: trust, but check.

I used to have a different opinion and didn’t believe the same; now I’ve increasingly come to them and see a lot of new information that is really useful for investing. Many say that all assessments were bought there, but think if this is the case, but more than half of the projects would be closed and no one would use the site. Why dig your own grave?

From time to time, because I think the rating websites are an amazing source of information about any project. But if the ICO is listed and has great marks, it should have great marks everywhere. Only in that case I would invest in it.

Some are trustworthy like ICObench and Foundico
ICObench is a scam site. I read a lot of evidence about ICObench scam in medium and telegram. They provide a good rating service for ICOs. If the ICO wants a good rating, they need to pay some money. So there are a lot of scam ICOs that are well appreciated there, don't believe in that site otherwise you will regret it

i only trust the ICO project by the growth, the comunity, the money by investor and they have reached the softcap.

No, I don't trust these websites, because it is very easy to buy a good/positive rating to your ICO, especially advisors at ICOBench are very hungry to money for their "expert" ratings.

Yeah right, most of ico rating sites now only want to earn huge profit, even if the rating is not high they will make it high ratings for the sake of the money, in this kind of industry, money matters a lot.

I never trust this stupid ratings provider because from the start i know that theres something fishy happening inside the forum
And with this confessions its clear that the ratings are being paid and not the real score.so please  stop believing them and just do your own research

I trust only ICOBENCH and ICODROPS. And basically I am interested in the fact of identity verification of the founders of the ICO project. I find the rest of the information in social networks and by studying the white paper of the project.

Now I do not believe anyone. It seems to me that investments in ICOs bring losses and ratings can not point you to a quality project. The world of cryptocurrency has changed a lot.
Rating can be manipulated by the owner of that site. That's why there was a lot of awareness to remind you about DYOR. Remember a lot of people have been doing a wrong thing by trust the ico rating site.
They are all getting paid by the ico. Even there are some public relationships just like mcafee was doing that shady service.

There were many articles on the forum where they wrote that ICO ratings are not objective. I also believe that the majority of ratings on sites is a subjective opinion that you can just buy.

Yes, there are very helpful. If you want to get great info about any ICO project and to see its rating among all other project, rating sites are for you. They are also listing a lot of bounty campaigns if the project has one.

I only believe some sites that do report kyc like icobench, but there are also some review sites that I am irrelevant, especially in giving project ratings and reviews even though they look strange

Regarding the icodrops site, I agree, as their team has proven itself well, and the projects they choose are successful. The rest of the sites I personally use only for additional information.
