The ICO Rating website was created not to indoctrinate the crypto community to fully believe it, but it was created to assist the community in obtaining information about the quality of the ICO they followed. The better the ICO rank on the site, the chance to get good results is also wide open. That way you can find out that the ICO you are following is good. However, the statement is also not 100% true, because the people who work on the ICO Rating site are just ordinary people like us, they also have weaknesses and limitations that might be wrong in predicting.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

I always prefer doing my own analysis. ICO review sites are nothing but paid. They will rate an ICO good, only if they get paid. Otherwise, an ICO with good idea and development can ever not be able to get a good review. ICO rating sites are not biased and trustable.

Own analysis it is good thing but unfortunately you need to spend a lot of time to make quality analysis of project. I think that ICO rating sites is the good filter to choose projects for own research.

I used the recommendations of several sites that make reviews on passing ICO. Some of these sites did receive money for advertising and there are frankly weak projects and I have a negative impression after visiting these sites, I will no longer use their services. The only site with ratings about which I have positive emotions is icodrops.com, I hope that these guys will continue to offer us good projects.

It's a very good question, and the answer is not a simple!
There are ICO rating platforms that employ professional analysts who who can really determine a good product for investment. These ratings can be valuable indicators of a project’s viability and potential profitability and are definitely worth a look as part of an investor’s overall research into a project.
On the other hand, there are platforms run by “online entrepreneurs” and Internet marketers who simply want to cash in on the ICO boom while they can. Their ICO ratings are de facto worthless as these platforms do not employ experienced analysts nor are they run by individuals who have the knowledge or skillset to evaluate startup projects. These are also the “rating agencies” that are more likely to encourage startups to buy a high ICO rating on their platforms. Needless to say, these “rating agencies” need to be avoided as they provide no added value to investors.
Hence, the old cryptocurrency investing acronym “DYOR” (do your own research) cannot be repeated enough.

We can't totally depend on the ICO tracking websites. They also doing job for earning money. But we can get brief idea about projects using those sites. There are so many good projects that i have seen some low rating in those website. But samply ICO Rating site is good place for important details about a project.

Well, most of the ICO ranking sites are community generated as you say, and the community can easily be bought and bribed, so it's pointless to trust the opinions of single people. It is probably a better bet to look at aggregate scores as these are more difficult to fabricate.

in any case, you have resources that give information about new companies, but he has something to tell, so that you know at least some information about the Project. But meanwhile, one has to learn to analyze all information about the project and the team too.

These sites are good promotion plans and good influence to attract investors. Don't just rely on these sites if you plan to invest in ICOs.

Currently for now I didn't trust any ico rating because many of them now are good at voting and at the end they will gonna abandon the project and those rating didn't help too much because I think this is the way of scammers to steal many money from the investors.

I don't trust all of them. But some of them can help you get the right decision. And remember, read, search, find the information from different sites or people, but do your own decision

As for me, I prefer not to trust any ICO rating sites because any scam project can buy its rating. Unfortunately, there are many people, who had faced with this problem. My advice, never trust these services.

Basically, that rating sometimes brings a good result and sometimes it's also not happening.
But I think that's are totally not fake and totally not good as well maybe. We can generate an idea just from that site I think. So don't trust 100% that sites and verify ICO project with your own experience and invest.

ICO rating website service is a good  source for information as regards choosing quality ICO. The rating website provide a summary of what constitute good ICO while you could use the result of their findings to decide whether you want to invest or not!

No. I do not trust ICO Rating sites! Rating on the site can be bought for money! There can not be any honest rating on such sites!

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
ICO ratings is still one of the best basis if the ico is good and will have a good chance to be successful and we all know that when the ico have a higher ratings it has chance to be successful but investor should also consider if the ico have a good team.

I do not believe these websites and their ratings. They changed them many times. Changed very much. I think they just guess. I do not exclude corruption. I can make the ISO rating myself. What are they better?

Sometimes ico rating sites can be manipulated and can pay for the ratings or votes so I rarely believe ico rating sites because everything can be bought and manipulated.

I also believe in ico rating if ico ratings are good because many good or expert investors will review an ico but I think not all ico high ratings are legit because others are paying for votes on ico rating so it's attractive that many investors have seen that even though the rating is high, the softcap does not reach so it depends on the project.

I don't trust but look into them. I think that nowadays everything can be bought with money. And these sites are no exception.
