My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin

almost every crypto fan have one or two experiences that don't always appear favourable on crypto, that is the thing about life generally, ups and downs but we should never think of giving up rather we should always learn from what ever mistake we make.

almost everyone who plays bitcoin will have trials sometimes we work not get results and sometimes get a lot of results. and the market does not always rise, the market will also go down. so we have to be patient and always learn.

I only invest what I can afford to lose so I think I am still good even if the market is on a downward trend these days. Just be positive that time will come that the crypto will be on hype again and most investors keeps coming in.

Ultimately, you have not make any tangible lost from your initial capital you still have some gains and experience.
Personally, I started my cryptocurrency experience in a bitter way in August 2016 when I lost a whole 1 btc to a fraudulent convert site. I intend converting my PM to btc then, and everything was gone.
But I will say I learnt a vital lessons from the experience and I have also gain a lot from trading and investment.

I think there are many who had undergone bitter experiences during the early time when I got involved in cryptocurrency. I did bought an ICO token wherein during that time I was not very familiar yet with the market movement and after several weeks, it undergo a bear market with a very huge dip and I thought it will no longer recover. As months go by, I learn from my mistakes and the lesson is not to be panic in times of bear market since it will recover once again and just wait for the right time.

That amount have shrinked further to about $450. The worst came when I took a third of the amount to buy Mithril coin when the news came that it won a vote to be listed on binance,  and suddenly it was disqualified,  and the price have falling like packs of cards, more than 50% right now.

Its a question of if I had known, I would have withdrawn the $3000 the moment I saw it on my bittrex account. Who can tell the future?

But I am wiser now.

Did you quit after that bug lose like op did? And can you tell me did you invest in that moment on that price relaying just on hope? Did you read all that topic in treading section about emotions and trading, mixing emotions and trading is bad combination.
I didn't read nothing new in this op post, it's not a constructive post it's complaining on bitcoin, he totally missed the trading discussion section, there he could see how important timing is in trading.
Most of you wish fast money, that's why you lose all the time, instead to make profit. Read more, learn more, make better preparation and you will have more successful trades, if not you will stay where you are.

This year is really we can called a pad period in the history of crtpyo currency because the value of bitcoin constantly falling and falling and we still don't get any sign of rising.

My sweet experience in bitcoin is when l have a big value of payments before because the price is very expensive/high.l really enjoy the day to have a big payment.But for now its bitter because my tokens have no value. you invested in a bunch of altcoins that got dumped and you lose money because of their dumps and because you were bag holding but your title says your bitter experience about "bitcoin"! how is that even relevant to bitcoin?

i have also been trading altcoins, in fact the same altcoins  you named have been in my wallet at some point but i have been trading them and i knew what i was doing. i am not saying i am an expert but i am saying i KNEW what i was doing. i knew i was trading, i didn't have delusions of becoming rich by bag holding altcoins.

After my best friend told me about the investment in bitcoin. I did not waste the time to try investing my money in bitcoin. Since I was a newbie at that time I tried to buy a small amount and I was so happy that I gained triple my capital.

The same was the case with me, but it was like I had my Bitcoins in Viberate coin which used to be one of my favorite projects until things went ugly on me and everything started to drop like a house that drops during an earthquake.

I took out some money since I was in need about $1000. With the euphoria of bitcoin suppasing $20,000, so I watched until my investment shrinked from about $2000 to $1500, then $1000, I decided to take out some little more until I had about $800 left.

I had more than BTC0.25 in Vib that declined to almost BTC0.15 even during the period when alts were rising badly, never had I thought that this will prove to be one of my biggest mistakes. But then, I made up my mind and sold off my Vib, took my BTC and kept it until I got a project I thought I could believe into. Afterwards, I bought Pundi X with BTC0.15 of my own and BTC0.15 from a loan I took from a friend. I never knew it would be the best investment of my life.

But then, greed is all it takes to turn the tables around and make you go back to where you started from. Everything was fine unless it wasn't over binance, and then me and many other investors got fucked. The worst thing here was, we need to be smart because holding your investment like a fool for longer will even take out your gains that were meant to be there in your life if you could take one good decision to get out from it at the right time. Nobody can tell the future, I've had BTC1.5 with me until it got listed over Binance, and after that, when I saw it falling down, I sold it at a very bad rate under panic and bought another coin, it went down and I sold off under panic again. Now, I am left with nothing but regret. The only thing that matters is, in the end, you should never regret on your decision.

I would say that is the rather same exprience like with every other investment or even everything else in your life. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
But more important of losing and bad experineces is how you cope with that and are you able to recover and learn a lesson.

some people who know and participate in bitcoin must have felt the difficulty and pleasure, including myself, which is difficult if you have not made a profit when the price is down but so happy when you can take profits when prices rise.

Same experience with mine. I became serious with bitcoin last year and have made quite a lot. Fast forward to December 2017 and I was feeling like a king. Looking at the few hundreds of investment I thrower in reached its peak and I was worth over 9k. Who wouldn't want to let it double again thinking that how's it should be going. Slow and steady but thanks to the CNN, that's why we are in this mess. Shilling bitcoin all over the news brought this mess upon us. We still would have been on a steady growth.

We all has stories to tell on the experience of 2017 December. It was so terrible that my account that  I saw in my wallet at that time was $9800 is now as we speak shrink to a little above $800.That is just a fact but am still holding because it is not yet a loss till I sell them off. December 2018 will soon be here.
