My experience is really bad. I have lost 99.8% of the value in my portfolio because I only took out money to live on and not my profits. Now I don't even know if I can survive from crypto jobs alone anymore as most jobs I do, the ICOS don't pay, or turn to scam, or delay paying out tokens, or tokens don't even get to hit an exchange. This is my worst year in crypto. 2018 wiped out ALL my gains in 2017 and it sux bad. I really don't know where I am heading now but I have all my bets on Pundi x, that's the only coin I have left in my portfolio. I have also a few other bits but I have to sell those to be pay bills and food expenses for the coming month.

Many people have the same experience as you. I also bought BTS and Ripple last October, and everyone knows Ripple has climbed from $0.2 to $3.50 in the next two months, but unfortunately I've been at HODL, HODL, which is terrible.

I started my cryptocurrency journey around July 2017. I bought some altcoins;  verge; dodge, Xrp Siacoin on Bittrex and left some on bitcoin. It was a roller coaster for me around November to December 2017, particularly with verge, my crypo investment of just about $120 grew to a little bit over $3,000. I never new on time until I opened my bittrex. It was wao!

I took out some money since I was in need about $1000. With the euphoria of bitcoin suppasing $20,000, so I watched until my investment shrinked from about $2000 to $1500, then $1000, I decided to take out some little more until I had about $800 left.

That amount have shrinked further to about $450. The worst came when I took a third of the amount to buy Mithril coin when the news came that it won a vote to be listed on binance,  and suddenly it was disqualified,  and the price have falling like packs of cards, more than 50% right now.

Its a question of if I had known, I would have withdrawn the $3000 the moment I saw it on my bittrex account. Who can tell the future?

But I am wiser now.

Does anyone have similar experience
It was an experience to be learned. We all have our ups and downs. For every stumble we must learn to get up and learn from that. I also have that kind of experience and until now the coin is still in its lowest price. I hope it will get higher soon.

No one can rightly tell you the future and again since the crypto market is highly decentralized it very difficult to predict it future price but I believe the price is going to rise towards the end of the year. You don't need to regret at list you have learn a lesson already.

Every true journey taker here in cryptocurrency industry would be experiencing such fall down for awhile. Though its a disappointment nor regrets its still a blessing indisguise. Take it as your training ground towards becoming a successful one since everything will come when its the right time.

Investment in cryptocurrency is not certain and I don't think it is something you should invest the amount you can't afford to lose.

i dont have any much experienced on btc.i think investment here is more challenging than any other.but you have to be more careful  on the value when to hit the right price.

I am sure many who started trading last year will have the same experience, i sold my coins when the price crossed 17k as i very well knew that a good correction was in cards after the mad rally, last January i met a guy from US while flying home as he was sitting near me and he was checking bitcoin news sites and we had a conversation, he was holding around a quarter million dollars in exchanges and was in confusion on what to do when the market started crashing and he too started last year and made a fortune, i advised him back then to sell off for now as the possibility of going below 10k$  was imminent back then in my view, but he kept on holding and a couple of months after that we had a conversation that he sold below $11k. Over all he is at profit but he could have entered back again when he have sold when it was reaching 20k$.

maybe with your confidence and the patience to hold and hold bitcoin makes you get a profit even though no one can know the future of bitcoin and other crypto currencies and how it develops

Well; as a beginner many have to face this sort of problem. There will always be profit and loss in the cryptocurrency market. I think you should forget it and take a lesson from it and move on.

Actually every investor in this market has such types of experiences. There is also good side of such experiences. Such experiences increase our expertise and help us to learn something new that is not possible generally.

Its really unfortunate for you to experience that, but I think you can survive on that trail and for sure your investment with Pundi x will be worth it. Try to join btc signature campaign so you can have at least sure profit every week.

I got scammed recently and this is my worst experience with cryptocurrency, although that amount is only from my earning through btc campaign I still feel broke because of that but now, I'm pretty sure to do better this time and make sure that I know every transactions I'm in with, don't give up we can survive in this market in the long run.

I also experienced like you, when I found out a coin with a good vote to enter the exchange, I began to be interested in investing there, but what do I do not know what happened, the coin quickly fell, until now its value is worthless

follow me, almost every crypto have one or two experiences that don't always appear favorable on crypto, that is the thing about life generally, ups and downs but we should never think of giving up rather we should always learn from whatever mistake.

We all have sweet and bitter experience in bitcoin but the thing is we should not give up even there is a downfall or rising of price. Not all the times crypto favors in us but we have to be patient so that we have good experience in bitcoin.

I only invest what I can afford to lose so I think I am still good even if the market is on a downward trend these days. We have to wait patiently for its comeback and hopefully return that boom green.

Such experiences are very common in this market. Actually such experiences are very helpful as this gives us knowledge which can be applied in the latter investment decision. I think this type of experience is very common to the investors of this market.
