Gox is in the process of resurrection.  I can't stand the fact that it's happening, but it's happening nonetheless.  I truly think we need to move away from the Gox's and BTC-Es of the world, they hurt adoption they depress price, they're shackles around the potential for bitcoin and all crypto.

Mass Exodus! Move to Stamp, move to CoinMKT, move to VoS, Just Move!

Gox has to go.

BTC-e is faster, better and has more chances to make money than Bitstamp.

Not resurrecting at all as far as we can all tell. Plus, Karpeles resigned from the Bitcoin Foundation and Roger Ver this time didn't defend Mt.Gox. It's gonna BK, but for some reason, they are extending the agony.

I'm hoping another company can acquire them, get users their money back, and work on getting Gox together again. Its not probable, but its not impossible.

No matter if this happens, people lost the trust on mtgox already.

Well, it seems they went.  And rather quietly at that.

I don't know what you are talking about... Gox has held steady at $135/BTC for hours now... Can't be any more stable than that!

Gox disable trading before taking down the site. Also they deleted their support section, which had to be manually deleted, its not hosted in the same server or location, is hosted at ZENDESK.com

Its seem YES, not yet confirmed, but for the support section to be off, GOX  CEO had to manually cancel ZENDESK.com Account.

The site, its not uncomend for it to be down, but the support its a whole different thing.

Yes, but the people that have money tied up there deserve their money back, and if the price was right, a lot of people would still trade there if it was under different ownership

OP is right tho. According to the leaked document

http://www.scribd.com/doc/209050732/MtGox-Situation-Crisis-Strategy-Draft

I am not doubting this info, I just want to know who wrote this? and who are the audience?

Edit:
According to BusinessInsider, this document is "unearthed by Bitcoin enthusiast Ryan Selkis"
I am still looking into the purpose of this doc...

Its looks fake. Re-Branding?

Its not liked the Bitcoin and/or the Crypto community are big. Everybody know about Gox. Who they are.

I think it would be impossible to expect anyone who has coins stuck in Gox, to trade in the new re-branded exchange. Their reputation is GONE. The only way is to start a NEW brand, not a re-brand.
