Well you have done a great work on making these. Looking at this data, it makes me both happy (for members who ranked up) and sad (at the same time) that some people get in front of me in terms of getting merit, sometimes the frustation kicks in too. Well i guess it is because merit makes people growing in terms of self-quality and there are many competitors now to get merit. I just need to upgrade myself now.

Thousands of users received merits, and they became Members. I think that ranking up to a Full Member or a higher level is a more interesting challenge.

I don't think that being a merit source helps one to gain merits. In fact, I think the reverse is true. People tend to assume that merit sources have so many merits that they don't need any more. I base this opinion on a couple of posts that I have seen stating this, and saying that awarding sMeits to a source is a waste of merits. Many members still don't realise that source meits are not the same as spendable merits, although both are effectively the same once they have been awarded.

Perhaps some low ranked members think that giving merits to a Legendary is a waste of merits, because he/she already has a maximal ranked account on the forum. But I am sure that every Legendary deserves to receive merits for a useful post.

I guess that being a merit source can help to gain merits, if some merited members will give them merits back voluntarily. In any case, this merit source should make useful posts worthy of giving merits.

Oh, by the way, the thread you've created about merit service (Crypto quiz) has been deleted in the local. Please avoid that kind of activity because it can lead into multiple violations in the forum and very risky. There are merit sources and people that has a lot of smerits, they will give those deserving and knowledgeable people. If you want to help others, merit them if you see their content as a worthy one.

Your account isn't even two months old.  There are Jr. Members who have accounts probably older than many multiples of that--with little chance of ranking up in their lifetimes.  

In addition, you've only made 17 posts in those two months, 3 of which were short ones in Meta that didn't add a hell of a lot.  The rest of your posts are probably in mega spam threads (I have whatever sections they were in blocked so I can't tell).  You'll need to seriously step it up if you ever want to earn any merit--and whining about it isn't going to help.
