yes, that's very helpful. and that will bring two benefits to beginners.
first they will get the information they need, the second they can also benefit from it.

I agree that your opinion is helpful but I won't stop where I first learn crypto.
Being a hunter still profitable because you don't know what will be the future of the token you are promoting, there are chances that it will hit til the moon. So I don't recommend to stop their focus being a hunter if possible they can do both.

The beginners might be told not to worry about the price drop, but it is not easy to heed the advice and relax. Experiencing the wild swings of Bitcoin is one thing, being told about it is another. Only if you have experienced the rollercoaster ride, you will have the patience to wait out this bear rally.

That is true, but then again, people can't help feeling anxious whenever they see red on their holdings but i see your point. Right now we see a very steep decline in prices, so that means, crypto currencies are on ssle and we could buy alot more for our holdings waiting for the time when we see a full charge bull run next year or the year after.

Agree with you as a newbie to bitcoin and all other stuff, i am always thinking that i entered at wrong time. this makes me more unhappy. However after so many dips, i came to know that these dips are teaching us to dive more and stay more in bitcoin. So i learnt that these dips are good to evolve

Old-timers who got on before $500 are smiling at whatever price it's at, 19k or 6k. It's all green for them.

Being in the green doesn't negate the crushing loss you've suffered in the $19k to $6k drop. It's about opportunity costs, and the opportunity cost of not selling and continuing to hold is the direct result of those losses. If you bought 2 coins at $500, you've invested $1000. Right now you'd be sitting on about $13,000, which is great to be up that much. But you missed out on locking in the gain at $38,000. Being up is better than being down, sure, but who's smiling about the fact that the opportunity cost of not selling resulted in a loss of $25,000? Looking at it your way may be optimistic, but looking at it this way is pragmatic.

You have a point, but I can't agree with you on the loss amount. As long as someone is still holding his/her BTC, I think talking about their "loss" is inappropriate, and I'll explain why, with an example from the past.

In December 2013 Bitcoin hit $1,200 and those who bought below $100 earlier in the same year could make huge profits, or using your example with 2 coins, they could earn $2,200 investing $200 6 months earlier. But if they missed the opportunity and were holding later no matter what, we all know that they could make much more later. I think currently we are in a very similar situation. It may look like people who sold their coins at $11k in February did the right thing, but it is also possible that they did the same mistake people did in 2014 selling at $700 (although BTC went down to $200 afterwards).

Its hard to find bottom price and reading market movement. If we want to buy bitcoin in dips, we should have technical analysis and good trading knowledge. I am prefer buying at current price and hold bitcoin for long term because bitcoin is safest investment in market

Well that's looking at it from a positive perspective and good for you that you realized it quite early.  A lot don't figure it out anymore since after losing money, they decide that this market isn't worth it and quit. Only regretting later on when the market recovers hard.

When the price of bitcoins and cryptos dip, you begin to think if the old timers and the newcomers are living in a separate investment world. You will hardly see the old timers complain. maybe it is because they have already made enough from the market or already used to the situations.

I like how you put it! What is noteworthy regarding crypto market is that it always recovers hard at some point. It's always just a matter of time. Sometimes it takes years and occasionally it takes months. Let's hope it will be months this time. Smiley But seriously, months or more, there is no other way for something as good and suitable for the future progress as cryptocurrencies, than a way up.

I totally agree with this because as a newbie, you really have a tendency to panic and easily be swayed by all the negative news, sudden dips and all the other FUDs around because you are a newbie, you are new in this game, so you have to be equipped and ready to analyze the situation and have a stronger hands in handling your coins. For the old timers, most likely they have seen all the FUDs, negative news, the fake ones and all that stuff but they have already a very strong foundation of their trust on Bitcoin and its resilience in times like this, plus the fact that they are looking at the bigger picture now, sudden dips and chaos due to FUDs won't really work on them anymore.

Those who are newcomers here in the cryptocurrency , we can not deny that for their new stint in this business they may come up to panic especially if the bitcoin price will take a dip, and those who are veterans in this current situations may only smile because they are in this situations a time ago and when they hear newbie panic, they just smile about it.

yes you are right usually new traders are often stuck at very expensive prices because the conditions of the bitcoin prices fall until the price touches the base price so that many new traders experience panic and finally sell their cryptocurrency at a very cheap price.

to be honest and can not be denied, I as a newcomer expect something good from the bounty campaign and continue to consistently carry it out to date. But your opinion as an old person is true, we cannot just miss the opportunity by just being a bounty hunter while old traders take advantage when dip, the mindset must be changed and I will try to buy a few coins.

Many new people on this forum are so focused on ranking up on this forum, with the visions of making tons of money from Bounty and Signature campaigns, but when it counts the most, they tend to drop the ball and they lose out on the biggest profits.

My advice to the newbies out there is to forget about Signature campaigns and Bounty campaigns and to concentrate on the things that will help you to make the biggest profits. You should acquire as much cheap bitcoins as you can, during a dip, because you will never know if that price will be the lowest price that Bitcoin would be sold for in many years.

In early 2017, the Bitcoin price was around $1000 and everyone was saying it was over valued, well they were wrong and most of the old timers just kept on buying more coins. The end result... The Bitcoin price went up to $19,000+ and we made huge profits.

So, please shift your focus on the Dip to something more positive. A dip in the price should be welcomed, because it gives newbies and old timers a opportunity to buy more cheap coins.  Cool

Buy the Dip and Sell on the Spike for the highest return on your investment. No Signature campaign or Bounty campaign can beat a 800%+ increase in the price.  Wink

Many come to create a Bitcointalk account to do a Bounty campaign and there first target is to become a junior member then member and other ranks but few starts to learn more about the market and crypto assets and moving to trade which is a bold idea specially in this period of time and we can see most people who did got successful and even those who lost everything leaned many things than the rest so market learning with patience is the best thing to do as a newbie if thinking to make considerable amount of money in the future

Panic is part of every investment and for that market crypto enthusiasts are not an exception to this. It is normal to panic at some point when you see that there is no hope again. Most newbies do not have bitcoins but rather some cheap coins which are now really falling, there is no way you can allay this kind of anxiety this person may be having seeing his investments sinking. We just have to make feasible hopes which will help us to enjoy in future. Setting of too much higher goals can kill all your investments.

Yes you are right, the market is depending on demand and supply so you should always calm your self every time the price is dropping so hard.

Some good points there. Especially regarding goal that can kill your profits if they are not realistic. People think they can become millionaires in one bull run. It is better to be a bit more conservative, define achievable goals and cash out when you met them.
