My VERIFIED account was frozen on Poloniex without any explanation. Wrote in the support - no answer for 12 days. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Why it frozen?
Actually 12 days is a long time and honestly I doesn't have encountered a problem like this but I hope there some people who will help you.

The best thing you can do is to contact Poloniex directly because nobody will ever know the exact reason why your account was frozen. Have you tried to email them? Asking on their official social media? Anything like that?

The best thing you can do is to contact Poloniex directly because nobody will ever know the exact reason why your account was frozen. Have you tried to email them? Asking on their official social media? Anything like that?

as jonbi stated you should try to contact them directly.

i have seen a few people that had issues with exchanges get their problem escelated by posting on r/cryptocurrency or r/bitcoin r/etherium.

i am sorry for your situation. i hope it will get resolved.

Actually 12 days is a long time and honestly I doesn't have encountered a problem like this but I hope there some people who will help you.

Some of you maybe playing with fire.
In my opinion, Companies backed by well connected people tend not to give a damn about public opinion whether they are licensed or not. Your millions of dollars worth coin could be frozen and nothing will happen.
I used Poloniex before but don't know much about it now... still I will advise anyone to be careful on the exchange.

Better to use exchanges with good Reputation.

After the change of owners to Poloniks at the end of 2017 a new contract with investors was published. For Luckyinvestment I want to recommend him to re-read and then go out with accusations to Poloniks. I never had problems even before I verified in Polonix. I recommend for Luckyinvestment to carefully read the contract and he will find something that contradicts his opinion.

it was 3 month ago, and still i waiting for any REASON, my balance (0.87189716 bitcoins) in poloniex has been held for 3 months, a lot of money for me...

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?


I would like to post a picture of my balance and the email support from poloniex for everyone but I am an inexperienced user in this forum.

Have you contacted them? How much money did you have in your account? This is why you should not keep all your coins in an exchange, even though I'm not following my own advice. Poloneix is a top exchange which is why I'm asking if you contacted them, since they should be able to help you out.

Re-read what he said dude. He already said if he has ~0.87 btc and he already tried to contact poloniex since 3 months ago but until now he doesn't give any reply yet. Idk if that's all of his money or not, but it's more than $7000 and it think that's still huge money for people

Checking today all my emails from poloniex i saw other reply from poloniex the same day of my first claim (11-05-2019) that they said me my account is frozen to trading and they request me withdraw my money because they gonna close my account in 2 weeks. That's a lie because my account is still availble, in fact i logged today and the whole month of november, traying to get my money and it was never possible because always i tried withdraw my balance the platform show me that my account is freezing. my balance is 0.87, certainly more than 7000 dollars...

This is an abuse, today I tried to withdraw my money again and it was not possible, the irony of all this is that Poloniex still lets me make deposits.

I was thinking like you: "Poloniex is top" that the reason why I took this situation calmly, but the truth is that almost 3 months later, I cannot withdraw my money yet, that is making me panic.

Did you tried to withdraw your money on the time they said to you? But since you say you just checking all your emails from poloniex, you didn't it. Since they said they will close your account in 2 weeks, i think that's mean you can't withdraw your money not you can't login your poloniex account

This is somehow weird, i hope you aren't involve in any dirty bitcoin transaction? And waiting on email response can take time, i suggest you get in touch using telegram channel of poloniex instead for quick response

I am not trading on Poloniex anymore, but one week is such a long time, have you checked if your issue is an isolated one, if there are some similar issues from other traders, then members will have something to be concern of, withdrawal system and addressing issue is very important for exchanges and gambling sites, better for all Poloniex members to take this issue seriously.
