I confirm my forecast - $100k by 2019 for 1 BTC

John McAfee on this forum, who knew.    Well welcome but I would suggest accuracy to any target is added by multiple perspectives.    Just trying to call out a price by a singular estimation is too prone to self bias and hopes.   Sure anything is possible and 100k is still feasible some point in future however I think its unlikely nearterm.

My reasoning would be to refer to the wider distribution of value across the world.   For greater accuracy I think we should look at both sides to the equation that we call price, that is US Dollars, we have to consider this worth when comparing it to BTC price.    

So I do think this 100k estimate it wrong any time for this decade because US dollar nowhere near to the end game melt down situation that would precipitate such a large change from the current sub 10k action.    Obviously I dont mind being wrong on this exactly and I do think US dollar has problems but not near term, I dont hear the news or market apprehension that is required for a much lower US dollar value.

When $ is weaker, you will have your price appreciation in many assets and prices that are traded on all markets.  This iis a very likely scenario but its not happening this year or next, not that I can see in any reasonable view

By the new year, bitcoin can not rise in its price to one hundred thousand dollars. This is absolutely not realistic. There are no objective reasons that would make bitcoin so sharply again rise in price. Such a demand for it under the current situation, when it is on the contrary, has lost some of its popularity, is impossible. The clock is ticking on this prediction, there is just over 2 months left of this year and it would have to undergo some type of massive pump to go anywhere near that figure. I would say good luck, but I think we're looking at one zero less i.e. 10k

$100k prediction is too much because it can happen only in dreams, many experts also predicting these kind of prices but i think bitcoin will touch only $25k and long term holders will get profit in upcoming months. In December 2017 bitcoin price was $20k so now our expectation is more but no one know what will happen in upcoming months.

$100k isn't an impossible dream at all, actually it's extremely likely - but not in 2019, more like 2021.

Well as per my observation there is no one who can give us a confirm forecast. We can speculate and predict only. There are equal chances that someone's prediction may get wrong or right. From last year rise in BTC price, our expectations with BTC has increased. I agree that only BTC has ability to rock the market. But 100K$ is very high, my prediction is 25K$ to 30K$.

Nobody can predict, sometimes predictions also miss, because this price is always changing, it's not solved.
Sometimes predictions cannot be a reference for price certainty, because of course it will not become a reality in accordance with expectations.

it seems like everyone here also supports that silly prediction, as well as me. now the price of bitcoin is in the range of $ 6500, it needs a very strong boost to reach $ 100k. Does this make sense? too naive if you say "yes"

100,000 dollars price of the bitcoin in the year of 2019 is still good and dream to come true price for the bitcoin. But maybe it will not happem in a short period time need a lot of years and many challenges before it happen because for sure once bitcoin up again a lot of people sell again their bitcoin and start dump again.

That's way far from anyone's prediction or speculation for this year because i do believe that it's impossible for bitcoin to reach that height yet. Even reaching back to where it was last December is very unlikely to happen again this year.

I think that's a very high market value to reach and what bitcoin needs now is to break tough resistances before this year ends. Even if that will be a very good sign that bitcoin is coming back again, well i don't think it can hit 100,000$ this coming 2019.

Who wouldn't want to see such price but let's be real. We haven't recovered yet and you're saying that in 2019 price will skyrocket to $100k just like that. That needs so much of hype before it will going happen. I'll be happy if we go back to atleast $10k next year and not gonna dream of such nearly impossible bounce.

I feel skeptical about that price you mention for bitcoin next year because bitcoin has really difficulties of rising back again. Until now, it didn't progress and threatens to break the 7,000$ resistance. So my prediction is that it can't reach 100,000$ next year.

Bitcoin coin price as of now it seems stabilizing and moving slowly but  surely in my expectations it would take time to reach expectations, but next year will be the bullish  time and reaches 100K usd.

I don't think bitcoin will reach 100k$ in 2019, in my opinion this value and over will be reached in 2020, but i think we can reach over 30k$ in 2019. As we see the bitcoin still not grow so much from the time this thread was opened by OP. All we can do is to get more bitcoin and hold until we need cash money or hold until grow enough.

 Now I will write for someone a shocking thought. Back in December 2017, I wrote that by 2019 the price of the first coin would be about 100,000 dollars.
However, at that time there was a "bullish" December.
However, and now I confirm my previous forecast - $ 100,000 (+/- 20,000) in 2019 for 1 BTC

It is very possible we can still have a bull run that can push bitcoin to $100,000 and at the same time bitcoin can still go down more.  We can only speculate and forecast but we can not really say when this will be but time will tell. Bitcoin will be better next years than this year.  We should not expect too much from the remaining time we have this year but I seriously believe that next year will be better,  however,  I doubt if next year bitcoin will hit $100,000.

Nah, $100k will be in 2020. 2019 will be the slow buildup back to ATHs, 2020 will be the boom to 6 digits, and likely the start of the next crash by end of 2020.

the $ 100k price may be very high for now, and for 2019. well, maybe the price of bitcoin will rise, but I don't feel that the price of bitcoin will reach that price. most likely, if bitcoin develops, in 2019, the price of bitcoin will stabilize at a price of $ 15k.
