One more essential problem is an extraction of the personal information.
No wonder, cause as big data stands out as one of the core foundations of future corporations, the actual kind of personal information that corporations collect as well as the amount of personal information is increasing.
I have heard about few examples of such an extraction. Verizon, which took over the Internet part of Yahoo in October of 2017, later revealed that about 3 billion user accounts were hacked due to a hacking incident in August of 2013. Tumblr and Flickr, which were owned by Yahoo, were hacked as well. Moreover, Oracle’s payment-related subsidiary firm, Micros, was also hacked for its user information, and Linkedin announced that password of 6.5 million users were hacked in 2012.

As personal information data is becoming centralized, corporations who save a lot of customer’s information are becoming a good prey for hackers, like a honey pot.

In fact, the corporations continue to be hacked repeatedly. Information which is leaked once is irreversible and can be misused for crimes such as voice phishing, etc.

We shouldn't forget about an infringement of personal information that is connected with BAADD corporations activity.  We use Facebook and other so-called BAADD media and think they are free. Superficially, they can seem free, but as mentioned before, Facebook sells personal disposition information.

… or earns profits by conducting a customized advertisement for a corporation and institution based on that kind of disposition information.

Most of the sales of BAADD media, including Facebook, come from an advertisement, so they use this kind of personal information actively for the advertiser.

The advertiser wants to maximize the effect of advertisement by sending out the right message to the right target at the right time.
In order to do so, the advertiser needs to choose advertisement media and print media that provide high advertisement efficiency, and a system called DMP (Data Management Platform) which provides various data of consumer is needed at this moment.

- What is the DMP?
DMP is a system within Facebook, and in the advertising business, there are corporations who make profits only by collecting and providing data. The core of DMP is how much data it collects.

And these varied and numerous amounts of data let one send out a customized advertisement by identifying the target customer, even when it is not linked to an identification information that identifies a specific target.

Most people would likely provide all this information without perfectly understanding what they have agreed on, and corporations collect these data directly or through 3rd party and use them to increase their profits.

it sounds frightening taking into account  how often each of us uses different media.
In the future, more and more personal information can be used for convenience and vitalization of the industry.

Is there any solutions?
To fight against this type of trend, it is desperately needed to recover the sovereignty of personal information through active compensation request regarding the user control over personal information and the profits earned from using personal information.

Is it a real problem? I mean, can it be compared with drug or alcohol addiction?

It shouldn't be ignored. People who use the social media a lot show higher risk in depression, anxiety, and suicide attempt, and digital addiction of teens should be solved especially.
