it seems to me temporarily, after about 2 years there will be no such strong domination bitcoin (50% +), even now there are already independent cryptocurrency that do not repeat for the price of bitcoin, for example - Binance Coin

bitcoin is the heart of cyptocurrencies because it is the pioneer in the market, it is the most tangible and stable coins that could by far be the gauge of other coins and altcoins too, just like dollar that is the universal currency, bitcoin represents cryptos and therefore the price of bitcoins really dictates the market price of other cryptos such as altcoins.

That is the most probably reason for the dump of coins and altcoins. As you see, bitcoin is at rank one in coinmarketcap. And all the coins and tokens, relies on bitcoins price. They even have a price conversion of their token price to bitcoin. So, when bitcoin price changes, so as the altcoins and the coins price also changes.

Yeah, Bitcoin seems like a parent of crypto coins. It is the first crypto coin, and it controls the crypto prices to date. When its price rises, then altcoins prices rise also. I don't know about the possibility for the altcoins prices be independent and no longer affected by bitcoin price at future. But in my personal point of view, it should be better when the altcoins prices can be independent.

Well-said there. No matter what, ethereum or bitcoincash or any other popular coin or token are just secondary.
As you noticed even in cmc, a certain token or altcoin has always equivalent rate in btc other than in usd.
So even if bitcoin's price is really not nice for the past months or has disadvantages in terms of tx fees, I believe there's something in store for bitcoin holders.

Bitcoin (BTC) is the most well known of the "crypto-currencies", so it makes sense that what happens to BTC has a direct impact on what happens to the rest of the "altcoins".  BTC is basically the gateway currency to all the other "altcoins", until there are more gateways, or more direct links from "currency" to specific "altcoins" then this will continue to be the case.

That's because bitcoin it is the Heart of all coins if its sound then all of the coins are good, if it's Bad then all of the coins are going down too. most of the time other coins are following the bitcoin price. just look up the market right now.

This is really true. As long as bitcoin dominates thecrypto market this will continues. This can change though if regulation do happen and the market becomes stable.

Bitcoin truly is the big daddy of the entire crypto scene.  i know some people don't like it but the alts need Bitcoin to get their direction.  When Bitcoin stalls the alts really fall apart.  The losses are staggering at this point.

well as of today,
Bitcoin is looking at $350 Recovery, while other Altcoins are keep continuing to drop.
That solidifies the throne for Bitcoin imo.

I think it's because bitcoin is the pioneer of all cryptocurrency.
This way many people think that bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrency, that's why all the cryptocurrency's price always following the footsteps of bitcoin.

other cryptos many who adopt from bitcoin. of course, this makes what is in bitcoin is always followed by many other coins. so this certainly also which makes the value of bitcoin getting stronger and getting higher but the other coins would be hard to reach like the bitcoin is also not even close.

There are some reason that bitcoin price has strong effect on the alt coins:
- Bitcoin is the first coin created so it is considered as the cryptos king.
- Most of the alt coin have trading pair with bitcoin on the exchange, so if bit coin price down, the one its pair should down first as well.
- Bitcoin got strong effect because to many people out there, alt coins are just mean to collect bitcoin that mean everything running around with the only purpose of getting more the number of satoshi.
