You have to look at Bitcoin like a highway - BTC is presented in every exchange and it enables selling almost any coin on the market. We need Bitcoin for basically for the sole existence of the crypto market as we know it.
Bitcoin is like a role model for others, enable selling in every available crypto exchange, the influence is very big for the crypto market, and the marketcaps are very dominant over 50% of the entire crypto market, so bitcoin is the heart of all coins, without heart (bitcoin) of course all crypto will die |

As we all know it when bitcoin price goes down, most of the coins are heading down too. That's because bitcoin it is the Heart of all coins if its sound then all of the coins are good, if it's Bad then all of the coins are going down too. most of the time other coins are following the bitcoin price. just look up the market right now.

I agree with what you say btc is the first time a coin appears in the crypto world and after that a lot of altcoins appear. Then a lot of altcoins lean on btc so now the btc ups and downs have a big impact on the altcoin ..

I think we can considered bitcoin as the heart of all coins in crypto not only altcoin but also with the other coin. We can all say it base on what we saw on the market, if the price down the coins that is on crypto market will also fall there will maybe a connection on it. Maybe if bitcoin will lost its value all crypto will also lost its value because I believe that bitcoin is the holder of the crwon.
or maybe the great coin on crypto.

there is no doubt about that. Almost all new coin & even exchanges are started on the market by pairing with BTC, and again almost all ICO will use BTC for accepting payment. thats why BTC will be like king of crypto because the usage of it. |

we should always be thankful that bitcoin is still the foundation of market price. if not, the market will be chaotic in terms of volatility. Once ETF accepts Bitcoin as currency, humanity will be thankful for its existence.
unfortunately now bitcoin cannot be used by everyone as a currency. most of them only use it as an investment asset that they keep for a long time. indeed bitcoin looks like the heart of all coins, it looks if bitcoin moves will definitely lead to market movements that make other coins move. |

What you were saying is mostly true, every coins is following the footstep of bitcoin. But there is a bad news about it, sometimes the price of the altcoin aren't following the price of bitcoin when it rise. sometimes the price of altcoin isn't following to rise. |

It wasnt the bitcoin,but the blockchain i guess is the issue here.and its the heart of everything But you are right about when the bitcoin value drops same happen to most of the altcoins here in this market And i believe it is because bitcoin is the highest capitalized crypto and the majority of traders in this crypto market |

Probably most of the current altcoins were made inspired by successful of bitcoin but as the first cryptocurrency i think bitcoin will be first option for the people and if someone say bitcoin as the heart of cryptocurrency then i would like to agree with their statement because if bitcoin can survive then most of altcoins also will survive too and also if bitcoin die someday then there is no more altcoins
