You are not really thinking this deep enough, there is new investments coming into this market but new investors are very smart, they are entering the market without trying to bring too much attention to themselves because if they did then the price of all the coins will go up if people knew that they were entering this market, they are doing this so they can buy as many coins as possible for cheap prices, once that accumulation of coins has taken place then they would let everyone know that they are in the market.

And when that happens people are going to get positive again about the future of this market and suddenly new money will begin to move into this market and it will begin to go up but it is a process that is going to take years so if I were you I will not let my hopes to be that high because you're going to get disappointed.

Market capilizalization is one of the basis for determining the price  of a particular cryptocurrency , so if it will goes down , maybe the prices of that particular coin wll also goes down, It depend also  to   the supply and demand .

Its sad to see market cap value drop to $200billion after reach more than $700billions. Its more than 70% and thats why most coin in market drop the price. But i do believe market cap value will reach highest again in near future because many good news will come to market.
