Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I wish I would have never posted in this thread.  Pointless it is.

Then it would follow that posting in this thread a second time to point out how pointless it is to post in this thread would itself be doubly pointless.

So if I'm correct...blah blah

you're not.

NXT and NEM are the 2 I invested in.

Trying real hard to like nxt. I've gone through about 100pgs for the endless thread, set up a client, and put a few coins in there. Unfortunately I can't escape the feeling that it's just a premined scam coin with massively centralized distribution. Those guys are mining all the transaction fees and everyone joining in now gets diddly.

Isn't nem still vapors?

The distribution does not only have downsides Wink This way the network is extremely safe, because the big guys will always forge, and as long 50% or more NXTcoins are forging, the network is 100% safe. (this number will change to 10% needed to forge soon with the transparent forging algo).

If you hold BTC you also don't get any new coins? Quite the opposite, it has inflation @ 11% per year atm

Isn't nem still vapors?

Would you guys be interested in a free daily prediction service?

I've been experimenting with daytrading lately and have seen some quite good success. Of course there is not going to be any kind os subscription or fee, I don't claim to be a profesional or specialist. This is just an experiment and it'll go on if it goes well.

Here are my last purchases from Yesterday:

I launched the service I was talking about.
