Mining bitcoin by watching tv is a very creative invention to mine bitcoin. There are many people can’t mine bitcoin because of their lack of technical knowledge. I think it will be easy for them as well as for all people.

The concept will only work if they mine some other less popular Alt coin and only until it goes mainstream, because bigger miners will switch to more popular Alt coins, if it is more profitable and widely used.  Tongue

As other people said in the forum, heat and noise would be my main concern and this will also make the TV more expensive. You do not want to pay say $6000 for a TV that can mine Crypto currencies and within a couple of months that mining is worthless because of the difficulty increase.  Roll Eyes

I do agree with some people here. It does sound like a great innovation to mine coins using the big screen, but how about its power usage? Will it be okay for the electricity bills? This has yet to be tested.

This is a very new concept of mining, I guess. As this watching TV, getting coin does not similars with Playing games or other coin getting offers. Just watching TV can make you coin owner not solving any mathematical terms! Does this tv do it with cable connection or internet?

The TV will actually have mining equipment installed. It's quite impressive what they're trying to accomplish, although not sure how much your electrical bill will go up with this :p
I just watched the video and yes they will do this.

If its dedicated to mine bitcoin how long will the TV stay. We know that televisions aren't created that way and it won't lasts like the older TV sets.

Well for the electricity bill...  Undecided

Indeed. There are many questions arising from this version of TV set because it is going to cost huge money and the only person that will benefit from this is the company that is manufacturing the TV itself. I mean tell me for how long do you watch the TV itself? For sure not more than 12 hours a day  Roll Eyes

What the TV will mine in that period and have you guys ever imagined how much energy it will take plus how much harmful it is to keep the TV on all the time with all those infra rays coming out of the screens?

So, What I think is that TV it self cannot mine the crypto but the company will install some of the mining equipment in the TV that will use a lot of electricity so in short you will pay a lot of electricity fee and then you will get the XX amount of crypto, otherwise TV is nothing.

To my opinion this is pure waist of time and resources and the final result it's not worth mentioning.
Mining as an individual is not profitable anymore but still many come to idea to mine with their mobile phones or even TV. It's good to know how much possibilities technology gives us but you have to be reasonable and profit oriented when choosing what will you use otherwise you will find yourself in loss.

Yeah! You're correct, its more like a loyalty program rather than mining. I suspect this is a kind of misrepresentation of mining to attract users and investors just like cloud mining before that ends up a scam. I hope this one is legitimate and I would be happy to avail their services if ever.

It is good to know that an appliance that is frequently being used will be used for mining cyrptocurrencies while enjoying the channel and its segment you like. Although the aforementioned hashes is good, the price would still be far to be affordable. Lastly, the coolers intact for the ventilation of the hardware proportion to the ventilation and size of the television itself could might be far from the expected common thickness and cooling durability.

I wonder how much electricity this will cost and does it may burned your TElevision Set as mining has needed high power to be generated.but waiting for a reaction and the outcome of this project if this will bloom then instead of buying mining equipments that has been high cost i will buy tv sets to mine
