There has been so much FUD/FOMO lately about the bitcoin ETF proposals, debates on its merits and demerits,  it makes me wonder. What is actually better for bitcoin, Is it some form of government regulations like ETF approvals or Gradual mass adoption of cryptos in general?  What's your take?

If we have regulations then I think manipulation can be minimize and adoption will increase as more investors will have confidence that the market will grow bigger. Let's just hope that this ETF will give the crypto a positive impacts that could be a savior on this technology.

Both I guess. It is better for bitcoin to be adopted not by only some countries but all around the globe. Bitcoin serving as the pioneer of cryptocurrency shows the development or advancement of how we transact with everyone. Once it has been adopted, its use should be regulated. Everything that is too much or too less is not good. Having the negative issues involving bitcoin as of now should be lessen or much better be avoided for the betterment of bitcoin and its users.

A regulation on cryptocurrency would be a big help for the adoption to move forward. There are some institutions or businesses that wanted to invest in cryptocurrency; however, there is no clear regulation yet that's why they can't just easily get involved with it. Some people too backed out when they learn that it is no regulated because there will be no one they can turn to in times when they would have a problem with their investments. It is one of the things that we are looking when we invest in traditional investments.

It would be better for cryptocurrency world to have mass adoption because in this way, we know that there is demand to the coin but before that happens, a regulation is just in the corner because they wouldn't just let it be a major currency without the authorities getting involved.

Now, most of the people can’t buy crypto coins because of no regulation. So, if the regulation of the bitcoin is increased then it will be good for future.

I don't think this is true. People have been buying bitcoins for as long as they have been created with or with any regulations. Even years ago before they became mainstream you could us many exchanges which required little to no verification. there are still some that don't require full KYC and so on. That's obviously now mostly changed but it's just one more step in the right direction that bitcoin is taking into the mainstream and regulation in a natural process to adoption. We can only hope that it's not just too heavily regulated which could be disruptive but I don't think that will be the case.

I'll choose mass adoption of cryptos because with mass adoption, we can attract more people to come and use crypto and if we can become bigger then the government will thinking to accept crypto as a new legal thing. besides that, there is a chance for the governments to research what is the most benefits of the crypto so people attract to join in the crypto world. and after the government accepts the crypto, they will make a regulation for the crypto but not to control the crypto but maybe the government can get some benefits from the crypto itself.

ETF is important in just one factor that is if it gets approval, many people of America and abroad will come to invest in BTC. But BTC market doesn't really rely on this ETF hype. BTC market is free and it will get its run with or without any of these hypes.

Bitcoin ETF is a strategy for mass adoption of Bitcoin. But the US securities and exchange commission are hesitant to approve it as there are no laws and regulations in the decentralized cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin ETF is required so that Bitcoin gets mass adopted easily.

I think there will be no mass adoption without the regulation being implemented first. More people  would be attracted to adopt something that is regulated for investment security because more people are not risk takers specially investors who earned their resources through hardwork.

An overdose of anything is bad. Likewise, if there are too many regulations going on in this market, then it will backfire.

Even if the general public adopts cryptocurrencies without too much regulation, I think it would be better for the future of the cryptocurrency. However, there are two good and bad aspects of everything. Adoption is more important.

The majority will go for adoption instead of regulations. Adoption increases the participation in the market for the investors while regulations just complicates things further.

If the recent events are showing us anything is that bitcoin is not going to be adopted massively in either of the two options that you are giving, personally I think that bitcoin is going to be adopted once it becomes a necessity, many people do not see the necessity of something like bitcoin, they simply do not understand it, but in countries like Argentina, Venezuela and Zimbabwe they understand very well why they need bitcoin.

And once a serious crisis strikes the world, one from which it is impossible to maintain the current status quo people will begin to look for answers to what it is happening and what to do to protect themselves, many will choose gold as they have done for centuries but there will be many that will choose bitcoin instead.

Bitcoin should not be regulated because it is decentralized. ETF approvals only makes speculators of crypto manipulate the market.
It is better no government involved for cryptocurrency i think, because it is only causing some high volatility in the price of crypto.

I think regulation is much better because we can't achieve so much a people adopting it if they still see it is not regulated. People will have still doubts on whether they will use it or not but when they know it is regulated, they will have worry-free and use it very gladly.
