In this world of rapidly developing technology, there could be a situation that some projects may become outdated. So we have to be very careful and need to keep ourselves up to date on the current news and updates.
We have also to decide how long we can wait until the price rise? Or our investment could become zero.

Why would someone sell his or her alts for loss? I do not see an economic reason or benefit behind the decisions and a rational man will always quest to maximize the profits and not incur losses rather. You can take them to the cemetery. But what you'll gain out of that? IMO, no amount is small. Even if your coin has gone down by 99%, I would say that you can sell these coins and get the remaining 1% in your wallet. Why do you want to lose this small amount, by keeping them with you? In crypto, sometimes we need to take very tough decisions. But if you get emotional and refrain from taking such decisions, then ultimately you will end up losing money.

Of course, why sell the altcoins we have if we receive losses. It's better to keep it for a long time and just pray who knows that someday the price will increase to be expensive.
The famous crypto currency is not stable because prices rise or fall very quickly, of course it gives a chance for coins that have fallen down to rise again. Only patience and confidence make the altcoin owner whose value goes down to survive.

If the project is bad, you should understand that the price may not grow at all. If the project is not interesting or deceives investors over time, its price will only worsen. You must have a strict plan of what you will do when setting the price for your project or you can lose everything. Of course the price is sometimes revived, but this is a rare case.
