Actually I do. I beleive that cryptocurrencies are made to be used in real life for real things and not just like an investment asset. Usage in real life is their true value and competition to fiat currencies. That is why I'm trying to find the balance between holding and spending Bitcoin. For me just to keep Bitcoin in some wallet isn't the best option.
If the lightning network becomes a huge success then yes the bitcoin will be used for both the payments and as a store of value. If not then BTC might be used as a store of value and any other cryptocurrency for day to day payments as the crypto adoption increases. Yes actually, I also used Bitcoin to pay for my bills, other expenses, I make sure that at least I am doing something to market it and that is by using it, although not everyday for sure, also making it for transferring of money from my loved ones, so that I don't need to go to banks or to any remittance center.

I have huge doubts about it, if the lightning network and bitcoin are unable to succeed in being accepted as a form of payment than most people are not going to bother to try to accept any other cryptocurrency in its place, bitcoin is by far the most important coin in this market and if it fails at something it is to be expected that most other coins fail at it as well because most people are not going to bother to adopt those coins if they cannot use bitcoin to pay for things in real life.

I definitely used Bitcoin to buy stuff, in the past I have bought games and clothing with bitcoin. But the biggest purchase was that I bought my own pc with Bitcoin, I found out that a pc shop in my country accepted Bitcoin. So I picked out the parts and got my pc I am still using it as well. So I think it usefull for sure and a good way of paying for things especially via the Internet. There's also youtubers who do video's where they try to live on Bitcoin for a day they are quite interesting to watch. I recently watched this one and it's a quite good watch: https://youtu.be/rxm0ciAFhlA

no, for reasons of regulation, but if regulations can be changed it is possible for us to use crypto in real life. imagine when they or someone only get income from crypto, it is very possible they will use crypto for their daily needs, because now they will immediately cash crypto for their daily needs and when many offline stores accept crypto then it can be ascertained the use of crypto for everyday needs will be very useful and beneficial

I personally don't feel the difference between paying with cryptocurrencies and fiat money. Because now there are many credit institutions offering a lot of incentives when using it to pay and sometimes we have a lot of promotions for electricity and water bills. even promotions from the simplest services like 4G packages and some money cards. Besides, the payment for crypto is very limited and the transition period is really slow because my country has not developed according to this technology. maybe that's why I don't have the best experience.

You should feel the difference from paying between the fiat currency and the cryptocurrency. If you are paying with fiat currency then you do not need to wait for the some confirmation from the blockchain because the seller receive the full payment while in terms of cryptocurrency, you need to wait and pay a little extra because of the fee that you needed to pay to execute your transfer request.

For now it is much more convenient to use fiat as a means of payment because as what I've said only few establishments uses bitcoins as a mode of payment. When you use fiat you can instantly pay over the counter but when you use bitcoin you have to convert it into fiat before paying bills. So in short it is time consuming.

As a bitcoin fan, I see it unique because it is more convenient in terms of mode of payment but the merchants and businesses think that fiat money is still the best way so that they still not adopting bitcoin.

Same here, I used crypto in mobile top-up and not only on paying bills but for paying my airline ticket booking. It is very convenient also I used it to shop online as more online apps accept payment from our local crypto exchange. Very useful for me and it saves time from queuing because you can just your mobile and tap.

The difference is obvious to see and if we have had a basic experience with crypto and fiat, when comparing the usefulness of both in life, fiat seems to be overwhelming because wallet processing and operating with fiat are so fast, we don't need to spend too much time waiting for a confirmation while crypto requires a stricter one. And although some places and a few stores around the world accept crypto but individuals still use fiat as a preferred option with the highest utility, crypto is not for real life, it is for the investment world.

I mostly use the cryptocurrency for investing or trading, and I spend the rest on buying some important things I needed for my online work. Only several offline shops are available that accept bitcoin and most of them are online. Cryptocurrencies are useful to me, even though they are risky, so I typically use bitcoin and ethereum for long-term investment trading and hodling. Crypto adoption is still slow in my country, with few stores accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method.
Most of the local stores are not ready to accept crypto currencies as a mode of payment and this is why we only see international stores accepting bitcoin because big businesses can take risks and they are good at managing them. The two coins you mentioned are definitely the ruling currencies of the world and majority of investors are keeping them for long term investment rather than using in trading.

Bitcoin seems very practical to me. But I can't use bitcoin to get great technological products. There are still some disadvantageous situations for bitcoin. Late transfers are a problem. This needs to be solved.

Yes, sometimes I do use cryptocurrency in real life, And it feels great like having something special asset! Though it happened between known people. I have no experience dealing with things with bitcoin with unknown people! But recently I have seen a website called Mom shop, they accept crypto as payment, my intention is to buy a laptop from that eCommerce site! So, crypto using in real life is really helpful!

I have been using cryptocurrencies as investment only. I am extremely scared to spend my cryptocurrencies. Because i know i will be very mad in the future if the prices go so much up. I only have bought a trezor wallet once few years ago spending some waves.

˄˄ , making crypto as an investment is definitely done because crypto itself is an asset but when we talk about real use in daily life, not all crypto users can do it because of the limitations to be able to be used in real life and i think, there are many other factors that might be shops or sellers who accept crypto as a payment instrument that is not affordable in their area

One good tactic that you may like to try is that in the future when bitcoin once again reaches a new all time high then it could be a good idea to begin to spend some of that bitcoin, that way you're not going to be that mad that you spend your bitcoin when it was very low in value, obviously this means that you are not going to be able to use your bitcoin a lot but you can take advantage of those opportunities and most likely you are not going to regret it because you got a good price for your bitcoin.

Ya, but everyone including you doesn't know when is the "very low" value like you said, sometimes the price can be bottomed down for long ass time and then you can call that very low value, unless you don't know how to actually decide the price. Then you should not bother to actually say that.

I have no need to use cryptocurrency in every single day. Unfortunately in my country crypto is illegal that's why i have no more opportunities to do use in the various sectors. Sometimes i used it to buy online products from other countries which accepted crypto. To convert crypto to fiat when i used cryptocurrency in every week or month. I got some social marketing services by used crypto. Of course it’s very helpful to lead our every moment.

Crypto currency in my country is not illegal but, even if it is not prohibited by our Government for me, it still does not gained or reach its popularity peak compared to other country. As for me, that have yet started here in the crypto world, I still have yet to learn all the important concepts when it comes to Bitcoin so for now, I would only rely on gaining and earning money by posting that has less risk other than trading and gambling.
