I think it won't be a good move when Google bans crypto ads. I have read the news that Google has announced formally will restrict advertisement of crypto and related content (including but not limited to ICO, exchanges, wallets, and trading advice), including aggregators and affiliates regarding crypto and related content. I am worry this can bring bad impacts to crypto maket. Seems everything more complicated for crypto world now.

Personally i dont think it is a good idea, why?
Because these advertisements brings crypto closer to the whole world. The more crypto gets advertised on globally used sites like google, the more crypto will be adopted and be finded nornal. For crypto as a whole to succeed, good advertisements are very helpfull. This only if legit companys/projects will be advertised and not the crap coins we see alot these days. Adds like buy bitcoin, eth etc etc. Can bring more people in wich we ( as in crypto community ) definetly need in these very bear markets!

I am sure, this step will not affect serious crypto projects negatively. Ads are not the best and only way to represent good projects and attract customers/investors. Genuine visitors are found with relevant content and on several channels f.e. social channels and media press and not via google ads.

Google should ban those unwanted websites that are using their ad service and is being shown at the top when somebody searches similar words.

Like what FB did, they should ban those ICOs and those investments that are similar to scams but they must allow the legit ones. There should be filtering of these ads.

I don't know if its really being implemented yet I do still see some crypto-ads even as of todays. Care to share on the link source regarding on such ban?

Yes if they only ban such activities that lead to scams and online fraud then only it could help crypto world but if this news came upon execution then it will be a very major problem fir our market of cryptos

This is not good news. Good advertising is very helpful for the success of encryption, but it will not have serious negative effects. After all, advertising is not the only way to represent excellent projects and attract investors.

Google is the one who monopolized the system in our mobile app and even other software. Banning any advertisement on the cryptocurreny has a lot on effect on it the price the success rate of a one's projects, we cant do anything on Googles decision. Theres can be a lot of way to advertise cryptocurrency that can help on the investors,traders and also on the ICO's.

It's a good move. Phishers use Google ads to promote their scammy websites, with ban this isn't possible and so no victims.

I dont find official statement if Google ban crypto ads and i still have seen many ICO ads in google like in gmail. Others kind of ads in google except crypto ads also can be fraud. There are many way to promote crypto like article and video on youtube so crypto ads in google not really make big impact with demand of crypto.

I think it has enough effect when FB and Twitter ban crypto ads.
Indeed crypto ads can be like two sides of interdependent currencies. On the other hand removing crypto ads also reduces Google's own revenue.

To choose a good project or not, it's quite difficult because sometimes a good project doesn't work well. With the ban crypto ads by google also does not completely remove scam project
