I want to buy some altcoins due this big dip and strenght my long term position with several coins...

I'm going to strength my position in:

-NEO
-TRX
-EOS

and, perhaps in ETH

What do you think... is there any other altcoin that could be the next surprise after this present dip?
almost all coins are in the current discounted price, and I really like a few coins of your choice because they are almost exactly what I think. but I will give more space to ethereum at least 35% of my funds.

Yeah the coin that you mentioned are good for me to invest especially the ethereum, you may put an high percent of investment on it. I'm pretty sure that we will see the surprise from it but besides that I would put an investment in bitcoin, there's a big chance that it will give you a huge profits.
In my honest opinion, it would be much better to invest in bitcoin instead of going for only altcoins. First, an investor must have some bitcoin and then buy the potential altcoins because no altcoin can survive or move forward without the help of bitcoin. Ethereum and neo are indeed good choices. Diversification works only when best digital coins are grabbed.

The are good stable large cap coins. If you are looking for decent profit in long term without putting in much efforts, I would say these coins are good for the portfolio. But if you are looking for big profits like for which cryptos are actually popular, then do try short term trading with medium and low cap provided you understand technical analysis.

You are right. I am actually looking forward to $5.5k region in the next few days as that would give a good buying chance anyway. It could go a bit lower, but this is a chance I am sure willing to take. However, I do not think we could get to see the possibility of as low as $4500 though, but I guess time will tell on that one. For now, $5k seems more reasonable to be a very good support which I am looking forward to.

At the same time, there are big and bigger possibilities for the bitcoin prices to bounce back from the current levels toward $8.5 and then toward $10k levels. I guess the coming last week of this August month will be crucial as many positive future news based market movements are possible. Hence, buying at current dips also will not disappoint the long term investors.

I think it's best to invest in Ethereum, because the price is now very attractive. EOS can also be a good coin for a long-term. And I would not invest in NEO now, it's a very difficult time now.

I'm very attracted to the projects of docademic and horizonstate. With a good idea and already applicable in our realities. In addition, the docademic supports McAfee.

Buying risky business in a falling market, as there is always a risk that prices will go lower, but if you guess with a bottom, you can get a good profit when prices rise!

I thought that this is not a good sign if McAfee support something? I thought that he got paid for advertising some scam projects and pump and dump scheme? Market and crypto need real and honest persons who believe not just for money. I saw a lot of them but now I realised that they got paid for that. I bought tokens that lost most of their capitalization cause I did what guys like McAfee said.

Don't risk your money by investing in a trash coin like TRX Smiley. Don't be a fool by believing in what John McAfee said before Smiley. Although TRX has very high trading volume and high rank on Coinmarketcap but it's just a shitcoin Smiley. I think you only should focus your money on EOS, NEO and ETH only.

Stellar and Monero is on sale too.

I'll put bigger part for ETH than the other coins..
Same goes with me, because the pace of the leader is what determines the pace of the team. If altcoins are going to have a major come back, the impact would no doubt first be hugely felt in ETH than any other altcoin. Beyond that, I would stay with EOS and NEO.

There's no way to know the bottom level. According to this time, the market is at normal level. But we have fallen from very high.

Don't you think this is where index fund tokens could really help with this space, they have the specialists and people who know the TA of trading, so you expose yourselves to less risk. I think a index fund token is the best solution in times like this.

Some people choose to buy coin on DIP occasions because they think that DIp will be an opportunity for them to buy good coin at a price that is a condition for them to get the initial profit.

Not just any coin, but those with proven potentials, technology and placed high up in the market capitalization list as these are measures of the liquidity and volumes of trade to follow such a coin. Moreover a seasoned trader would also look at signals from couple of TA indicators to have clearer pictures and understanding of the story a dip would be telling.

Buying also newly listed coin in the exchange is a good strategy to make since they are still cheaper and you might have not know that one day this coins will give you glory enough to spend it and to have capital for next investment too.

Just remember that after a coin has lost 95% of its value. It can easily loose 95% of its value again. And again.

An example:

DeepOnion peaked at $19.25. It lost 95% of its value and traded for $0,9625
It is now traded at $0,3055 and has lost another 68,2% of its value.

If you had invested $100 on the top, you would have $5 left after the 95% drop. And $1,59 today. It is not necessarily smart to buy the dip. Until it is.
