Hello guys.
The new Bitcoin hard fork is coming which is name Bitcoin Real (BTCr). What do you think , this project is good or scam?
Everyone says that is really good project. and what do you think about BTCr price?

I think that would just be a waste of effort and time.
They're surely planning a after fork premine like the similar way bitcoingold did it.
Have a large number of coins for themselves and dump them at whatever price they get.
Even a transparent fork of bitcoin, BCH is struggling, we have no place for any other unreal bitcoins.

All these forks look alike. A lot of hype at first, followed by a huge dumb next. You don't have to look hard. Just follow the fate of Bitcoin Private, one of the last BTC forks. I would never suggest anyone to spend money on a fork like that. But if you really believe in the project, if you really have faith in the team and their vision, wait until the hype is over and then invest in it. That said, do you know why are they forking? If there is no new idea, no plan, no real roadmap, that will answer your questions. We don't need another form of digital money, there are already too many.

Thank you sir. you give me a great suggestion. I talked to the admin of BTCr. They have roadmap, new plan and They will lunch in November. But I am confusing when some people said it scam. But I like your opinion. Its helpful for me. Thank you so much. |

I am just hearing it for the first time here and I will look more into it but In my own opinion I don't really like all these fork projects and all that, most of them do that for their own self interest. |

Don't fall in any types of fork. Most of the forks are nothing! I have seen many bitcoin forks last year, all of them are scam now! Do not invest in fork coins, rather try to participate in their bounty or airdrop and when they list on exchange, sell them after 3-4 days.

Some pertinent questions need to be asked and answered first, why are they forking? what existing problem are they trying to solve? If the idea is murky, without plan, and no real roadmap, then it's just another shitcoin that will be dumped on those who will invest. I personally don't see what a bitcoin fork is going to do new. |

These forks are just for earning some money by using the name of bitcoin and nothing else but it can affect the bitcoin and the price of bitcoin. There should be a solution regarding forks that are happening months after months.

Funny thing is, bounty participations are a form of investments too as time and resources are being put in. The possibility of them not doing well in the exchange implies a loss on it own |

This is good to know, I hope they will take the snap shot and do 1:1 of the amount of bitcoin you own at the time of the fork. I will look for their channel and ask them more question about it and which exchanges they will support

If you look at the previous reply OP said the launch date was November getting these forked coins should be easy just make sure you have some Bitcoins on your wallet. You can also join their bounty if you don't have a lot of Bitcoin to hold. I am seeing this for the first time here, Please when is the fork schedule to happen? There's not much info you can find about the said hard fork. I did a quick search and all I found is their bounty thread which didn't provide much information at all no whitepaper and ann thread. |

If it is a Bitcoin fork then it is not a project because it is a split of an already existing coin. I do not think anyone has to worry of it be a scam or not. It should be freely distributed to those already holding Bitcoin first before any transactions on it can go on. |
