So what's the plan?Gold Bars is a currency that has been made with all people in mind. The aim for this coin is to make it so that everybody wins. Many coins you see now days are premined earning the devs have taken a stash of coins and later sell them to profit. The problem with this is that it can crash the coins prices and leave the investors with no money. The idea behind Gold Bars is that the developers still need money to uphold the coin properly without crashing the market. To do this we have come up with the idea to run an IPO.
Having an IPO means everyone has an even chance to buy into Gold Bars without risk. By doing this we will be trying to get a trusted bitcointalk escrow agent to use escrow with us. This way the developers can put the funds to work without crashing the network. We aim to spread out this IPO over the first 2 weeks of launch. This also means there will be no dumping instantly on exchanges.
launchThe next part of the plan is release. We aim to have a completely fair launch. We will upload windows binaries along with the source in a password protected zip file. When it hits launch time we will simultaneously post the password to the files on this website along with bitcointalk and possibly cryptocointalk. This enables a smooth launch that anyone can get in on.
First two weeksWithin the first two weeks our aim is to get this coin onto an exchange reasonably quickly. This gives traders a chance to get in on the coin and buy from a trusted source. This will get the coin moving around in circulation quicker and can give miners a higher reward due to transaction fees.
How can everyone can profit from this?As stated before there are ways that everyone can profit from this coin. First of all IPO investors will be granted bars at a cheap price which they can later sell at predicted market price to earn a profit, or hold on as will be explained in a minute.
Miners will profit simply from mining the coin. They will earn 0.1 Bars every minute (Spread across the whole network) which they can hold or sell on an exchange etc. And the everyday enthusiest has a chance to earn mining and trading these bars as per usual.
What’s different about Gold Bars?
Gold bars, like all the things we have mentioned before was not designed to be an everyday used cryptocurrency. This is what set’s it apart. It is used to hold wealth. For example if you thought some altcoin prices are about to fall and you want to buy back in after you need a currency to store that in don’t you? So you would sell your coin and move into gold bars. This is because it has been designed to be valuable and sought after. These two things alone are some of the biggest reasons Gold Bars will hold it’s value. We don't want to re invent the wheel (Bitcoin) we just want to make it usable for more things. Why only have bike that uses wheels when you can make a car that uses them?
Long term goalsOne of the biggest goals for Gold Bars is to establish a Gold Bars Exchange, our aim is to do that within the fisrt year although if our IPO is successful enough we may be able to hire a few developers and get started straight away!
Our next biggest goal is to bring various online games that you can spend Gold Bars on.
Our third goal is to start a Gold Bars only shop selling mining gear and such!
