There should be a quick price bump back up once the panic sellers realize Bitcoins fall is likely over.  Short term traders screw with the price but longs and hodls will eventually win out.  

I take $200 per week and buy no matter what and I plan to start some new businesses in 2018 that buy wholesale website visitors @ $1 per 4000 visitors and resell at $1.00 per 1000.  Using Bitwage, all sales will be settled in Bitcoin.

Could do a micro ICO but Bitcoin doesnt really have a good token platform like Ethereum or BCH upcoming product "wormhole".

So for now, just hoarding up.  In 20 years BTC could be $1,000,000 per coin.  Think retirement, not trading for risky gains

There sure will probably be a small bump before the deadline in terms of short-term price. The deciding factor though for mid-long term price though, is that if the ETF gets approved, declined, or postponed. I'm really not that confident. Probably the best case scenario is that it gets postponed, though there's definitely going to be a lot more fud if it gets postponed.

Wow good analysis so much depends on the ETF issue, everyone involves in the cryptocurrency are paying that Bitcoin will eventually approve, we really need this I don't know the scenario if we cannot get the approval, so much are at stakes at this issue.

Slow improvement in btc price only gives me positive hope always and makes me buy more positions at key support levels. Now wherever the price may go , but once it starts rising there will drastic rise as we are approaching Dec'18 as well and the same we have seen last Dec'17 year.So what i suggest is this is the best time to buy some positions and keep them rolling and wait to make some good returns in the long run and forget for a while.Still retail investors will come in and go out as per their requirements.

Good traders can make profit regardless of bitcoin rising in price or not. There's definitely lots of people making good money(and a good number of people losing money too) by shorting through sites like BitMEX.

I believe(and i'm sure inside my mind) that the time will come. But i have no idea how much it will take to reach that point.

Meanwhile it's not that bad since it can be used to get profits out of it until it stabilizes and we can start using it for everyday money without any problem at all.

Bitcoin can't be stable... As a matter of fact bitcoin is a crypto, so even if we wanted bitcoin to have a fix price we can't do a thing. What we can do is to put tryst in the bitcoin crypto to regain its high price.

Bitcoin can definitely be stable. It's just going to need time. Yes, we can't have a fixed price, but it's possible for us to reach to a point where the price swings are so small that they pretty much don't matter that much anymore. Similar to gold.

Let's see how it goes, its been trading sideways in the past couple of days with a small bump a long the way. It could really pave for a new market trend towards a good bounce at $7K or another bottom at $58++. Regarding Bitcoin ETF, we will see the same pattern prior to the supposedly decision (Aug 10), which is a short term bump as well. But we all know that when it gets rejected, expect a massive sell off and another bottom.

But that would be boring, i think the best part of bitcoin and alts market is the volatility. Other way, where we will see the +1000% in the past 24h? cryptos give us that chance, but at end big risk mean big profit or big lost, as we say in gambling, is the go big or go home.

This. I'm also bullish long-term on bitcoin, for sure, but the delusion in these replies though. People are actually expecting $7000 today for some reason. Not saying it's impossible though, knowing the volatility, but even if it does, it's likely to dip back down if it happens that fast. People need to be more realistic.

I think an island nation might have more use for BTC to over come isolation or distance and latency in their economy perhaps.   Where Palestine is one of the most densely populated areas in the world, its possible other places have more to gain but of course they could try and see of course I just dont imagine it as especially likely.

It tried but just couldnt do it.  I saw a $6600+ hit on coinbase but still building pressure at the 6500 area.  I just dont want the inverse head and shoulders pattern to fail.  If it suceeds, we should run to $7373ish before a correction and hopefully upward from there.

I agree that if ETF is delayed again (and it probably will be until March 2019) we will see more idiotic selling.  If price goes down i am happy to get more btc per dollar invested.  I truly believe btc will be adopted more in the future and be used to stabilize national economies.

It tried but just couldnt do it.  I saw a $6600+ hit on coinbase but still building pressure at the 6500 area.  I just dont want the inverse head and shoulders pattern to fail.  If it suceeds, we should run to $7373ish before a correction and hopefully upward from there.

I agree that if ETF is delayed again (and it probably will be until March 2019) we will see more idiotic selling.  If price goes down i am happy to get more btc per dollar invested.  I truly believe btc will be adopted more in the future and be used to stabilize national economies.

We can't know if bitcoin will be $7k once again "today" or anytime but I am sure it will reach that soon enough, I am becoming more bullish on bitcoin prices because I have seen and talked with people that lost a lot of money during the December and afterwards drop and they realize what they did was a mistake and they are trying to recover that with getting at cheaper this time and that will cause bitcoin to go up from now on.

This year bitcoin is not going to start a bull run.
Its just in a swing mode and swinging between 5k-8k.
I will buy around 5000 and sell over 7500$ this is a nice swing trade idea for now.

Bitcoin has its ups and downs due to its volatility. It has been its normal trend, its value is very unpredictable and uncontrollable. There can be drop in price but I still believe that market can recover at the course of time. Its current price is at 6.4k and can potentially get back on track, it can again hit 7k or higher. Stay positive and patience, don't panic, instead learn from every good and bad experience.

CNBCC give good predictions after they say bitcoin will dump, it will go up. Recently, they said it. After those announcements BTC usually goes up roughly 30%, so we should see $8500 and wait another signal from them.
