Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos

I agree comparing these completely radically different coins is just a waste of time. Each has its pros and cons, and you do not have to choose to invest that one.

Nothing it change between Btc and Ethereum. Still many will choice Btc as their investment as it have a huge potential gaining percentage than of the others. 
They have different in concept but both of them are influential in the market price,  and it looks like mostly all coins were depending on this 2 coins.

Because both are profitable, people tend to compare it because they are very popular in crypto.
They believe that bitcoin is the king but ETH might one day replace it because ETH has help to attract lots of investors last year, as the ICO brings
great increase, but this year, Ether suffered big time down trend, so people still notice ETH.

It is not a waste of time and still, you need to choose to earn.

It is not that bad to compare Bitcoin to other cryptos or these cryptos to Bitcoin since it will depend on how we will be looking at it. We all know that Bitcoin is one of the most popular crypto, so we can say it is the most successful. If we will be comparing other cryptos to Bitcoin that don't mean that we are belittling any of them, I will compare them to know the development of the other one and what is it's different of it and the early years of Bitcoin.

It's not surprising that when a newcomer begins to understand and trade crypto, it will find that most of the exchanges use Bitcoin as the medium of trading, so they not only have to follow the price of altcoins, but also follow bitcoin, so it's normal for them to compare altcoins with bitcoin, at least most newcomers will do this until they really understand crypto.

Here and nothing to compare as 2 different coins with different protocols. I can say for sure that Bitcoin will be in the first place and Ethereum in the second, but will fight for this place with Ripple.

Honestly I sometimes do this comparing. But on top of that, Bitcoin is my favorite crypto currency. I admit that we crypro people cannot avoid to do such actions. But what ever it takes, what is important is the crypto world is keepon running.

I don't think comparison is an eternal problem of man. I think the opposite is true. Comparing is a useful exercuise to help to see what's going on.

And telling me people what they speculate about which coins are to be invested is also important. Because it helps the people to become aware of what coins you should be buying or holding.

I don't think it is relevant to compare Bitcoin to Ethereum or comparing any other cryptos to each other. I know its quiet tempting to compare Bitcoin to Ethereum because of their reputations in terms of their market cap and volume.But I do believe that the source of doubt in most people in the crypto community is mostly because of this comparisons made about cryptocurrencies. People who don't really know and understand the ideas and purpose of the creation of cryptocurrency will just share their ignorance to the world, which is not helping the crypto market. People sell their cryptos just because they heard that a particular coin is better than the coin they have. To add to these, I believe dumping of crypto coins is also as a result of this kinda comparisons made by people.  Please let's find a way to talk about cryptos rather than comparing them to each other......

Yes when comparing with kind to other currency will not be a right idea because Bitcoin is more like huge expecting currency but other currency will not like that if Bitcoin will drop them all currency will not be valuable that's why Bitcoin will play an important role in cryptocurrency filed.

Actually I think that it's other way around. All other coins are compared with Bitcoin and Bitcoin price has always been some referent value for other cryptocurrencies. Sometimes people estimate how other coins have come to the Bitcoin value and adoption or how much are they growing on the market, more or leas than Bitcoin but still I think that Bitcoin is and will stay central coin in the market and every other coin that ever appear will be compared with Bitcoin as the first and most successful cryptocurrency.

People started to act like this is just a race between bitcoin and ethereum. So it’s kinda ridiciluous. I believe both are very good in their own way, i prefer to hold both.

Yes.I also do the same.I don't see them as great competitors because they can be of great benefits once their prices have already increased.I used to hold them both not just in the past but even up to the present.Btc and ethereum are perfect combination for a good investment because they both give huge profits in time.

Yes, I agree, because Bitcoin and Ethereum have their own advantages and disadvantages, but when someone compares Bitcoin and Ethereum, of course Bitcoin is the most superior in price, so it's a stop to compare the two.

Comparing cryptocurrencies is actually not a good idea because it tends to lame the technology behind some major blockchain networks. This wards off other investors who might have wanted to invest into the cryptocurrencies of some major blockchain networks.

Well, every people has its own will to do what they wanted. We cannot force them to stop comparing the Bitcoin crypto currency to Ethereum or to any other crypto currencies. But for me, it is not good to keep comparing crypto currencies because each and everything of them has its own unique characteristics as a crypto currency.
