Today when I was checking my stakes in the bounty participants list I saw my telegram username which was rejected https://ibb.co/ho6wNe , but I didn't participate in telegram campaign. And the firs thing I've done is that that I checked who is that person that tried to << earn >> some tokens by using my data. And I was amazed, it was a Legendary member.  https://ibb.co/nq3bNe.

Just report it to the manager and let them handle it.  There are constant scammers in here.  Nice work spotting it.

Yes I'll report, But the Bounty manager will only reject him from the bounty. I'm about how to block theirs accounts, that they never could use it again.

Just report the matter to the bounty manager with the exact details and proof that you have. The bounty manager will blacklist that scammer in his bounty campaign.

I think you should create a thread in Reputation section then only scammers are decreasing in this forum. Already many alt accounts are circulate in this forum so if you found these kind of nonsense just create a thread in that  section as soon as possible scammer are banned or negative feedback is give it to the DT members.

Post in this section below

Be sure that you have strong proof with your accusation. DT will act on it if proven scammer.

Make a thread on the reputation board so that DT members will tag the account once they see your thread. If you don't want to make a thread you can also send a pm to multiple DT members. Anyone who's going to use your telegram username would get rejected anyway since they can't join the bounty groups on telegram.

Edit : Had to cross out the first sentence. Pamahaw beat me to it.

Just need to report them to bounty manager and DT member by creating a thread in Reputation or maybe Scam Accusations section then these scammers will receive a neg trust as a free gift from DT member of this forum Smiley. But at first you need to collect enough evidence to prove that they're scammer.

If I found a scammer especially in the telegram chat, I immediately make a screenshot of it and immediately report it to the telegram admin so that the user can be banned. Don't be fooled when many admin pm you first in the telegram, the admins did not pm first the users.

I also had an incident like that, when I joined the telegram campaign after 2 weeks I checked in the spreadsheet, my telegram username was duplicated by a person, then I reported it to the manager of the bounty and then rejected from the participant.

I have the same opinion with others, report him and take your real data back. We know report will not stop him or others to do that again, but until we have strong rules about " scammer ", that's the best we can do. Protect your data and asset with many ways you can do because that's ours and from there we can get income. Good luck to you.

I really doubt that a legendary user gonna risk his account for a Telegram bounty, I am not sure but probably someone else used his name and  your Telegram user combination but provided his own Ethereum address, the only way to prove that this legendary member himself did that is to associate the Ethereum address used in bounty with him by finding a post he did with that address.

I found before that my Bitcointalk user was used in some Twitter campaign without me know of it,  scammers usually do that if the bounty requires high-rank user.

Most managers now use proof of authentication to avoid this kind of scams, and I think all managers should start doing the same.

The best thing to do is to report to bounty manager and also report to admins on the forum for them to take an action, But most times some people impersonate other people's account information, so the person detail you saw there, might not be the one that did it, someone might have used his details to register.

Nobody has the right to earn or reap where they did not down. Doing these campaign is a lot of work and anybody who tries to play smart by scamming the system should be penalized . You should have reported the guy. I believe the managers would have a way of dealing with such individuals

Yeah, I agree.
These make sense, from what the OP said and proved on the Spreadsheet the person concerned not accepted in the campaign (Telegram). The suspect combines a Bitcointalk (with high rank) profile with an OPs Telegram (but a bit suspicious when using an OP telegram account, when s/he can use own telegram account). The telegram campaign requires that the telegram account corresponding to the one submitted is registered and active in the group (in this case the campaign organizer group) however, the relevant telegram account is not registered in the group, so the manager rejects it.

It does not cost anything to download and install Telegram app on one's phone and open a telegram account. It's even more shameful that a such highly ranked member could use a fellow bounty hunter details for himself if it's true. I always think it's only common among low ranked members. The bounty manager should be able to investigate more. Some people even use other people bitcointalk profile link but change the wallet address to theirs

Lie in the cryptocurrency industry? You can go to the nuclear manager to report it. If this is in the real world you say there is no way. In the forum you can report it and prepare your evidence. Such a person is damned.

There should be a special section where you can complain to the scammer, I think that if you provide unequivocal evidence, it may have serious problems on the site.

Will be better if you were contacting him directly (a Legendary member that you was shown the name here) ask him about what happened to you. How if he's not the one who's using your data, that's will going bad.

now there are a lot of crimes using telegram usernames and other people's links to get coins for free. For that we have to check the spreadsheet and if you find things like you then we have to report to the bounty manager so they are rejected

I don't know how I got dragged into this, but I've never participated in a signature campaign, and I've certainly never scammed anyone.

I've also never used telegram. If someone on there has the same username, it's an imposter.

I'd be willing to contact the signature campaign manager and tell him the same, if it would help.

Ah...glad to see all this has fixed peacefully.
So, the only prove from the suspect is the Ethereum wallet that used, right? But I think s/he made new address every time s/he's doing something similar.

The scammer could be a bounty manager or a bounty hunter, therefore what i would do if the bounty manager is a scammer is to raise alarm via the announcement thread in other to save ICO investors from falling prey in the hands of some of these fraudsters, but in a situation where a fellow bounty hunter like me is suspected to be a scammer as a result of the fact that he uses my bitcoin username i and his ETH wallet address in a bounty; i would simply report the person to the bounty manager with a screenshot of my details of which he used in faking the bounty manager as a proof for proper disciplinary actions to be given to him or her by the bounty manager.

This is because the blockchain is a business founded on the basis of trust and transparency and whenever we found anyone trying to mess with our business, we will have to show them the way out by reporting them to the appropriate authorities through the smart contracts and other tracking device.

When I met scammer, the first thing I did was gather the evidence and then report it to DT Member like Pharmacist, actmyname, and hillariousanco. Then you need to improve the security of your account information to avoid hackers. The storage of personal information on the Internet is not really safe.

You report any unwholesome practice to the bounty manager via a private chat or through the report form, the level really doesn't mean much if someone is doing something wrong.

I think you should report it, first to the community, to see if any mod is interested and also to the bounty manager, they usually have enough contacts to do something, but they will most likely take it out of the campaign and put it in negative trust until they claim their behavior.

So tell me please what to do?

you could warn the bounty managers regarding what you have found out.
secondly you could make and submit a negative feedback to the bitcointalk profile of the fraud.
and be more vigilant, i experience such thing. and the one whos trying to be me, did try to claim some of my rewards.
for almost all of my bounty. so be careful

I think if you find a scammer, the best think to do is to report the person to the manager of the group where the person is and also try your best to spread the news so other participants will be aware of such person.

What can you do at all? But the question is very interesting and useful, it is obvious. I don't have any ideas but this discussion  will help everyone here to my mind.

Please report it to a moderator or manager of what followed. It is tantamount to forgery of data and opens the correct action. an awful lot of currently utilizes this so certainly detrimental to one party and if left alone will more and more be exposed to that kind of thing.

So tell me please what to do?

You can contact the account and tell them that you have found out that they are using your data and you will like them to stop using it or you will report them. Or you might decide to forego that entire procedure and go report them to moderators and the bounty manager to make sure that they are rejected from the campaign which means they can no longer use your info

You need to report it to the project manager, the excruciating attempt. A capable manager should definitely exclude him from any bounty campaign of the project. There are very many bastards who will try to make more money by using people's accounts. Unfortunately, besides many bounty hunters, there are many SCAM projects that make it difficult for bounty hunters to make some profit.

These things are very common these days and only thing you can do is to contact bounty manager and report with all the proofs.

There is really nothing much that I can do as an individual when I find a scammer?I mean who am I, and what power do I have. The only thing that I can do that is within my reach is to try to inform as much people as I can that I have found a scammer and let them know who he is so they can avoid doing business with him.

Friend, if you sure you found a scammer, just report it to the scam accusation forum in bitcointalk.
So any peoples will know about the scammer and won't get scammed anymore.
But i guess you were talking about bounty hunter, so it is not the scammer but it is a cheater, you must report it to your manager.

I think that when you get a scammer in the bounty and have your info quoted it can only be reported to the bounty manager to work out and not to cheat on bounty as well as seeing the bounty bounty like facebook bounty many multiple accounts as well in the signature campaign so if you get this you report it immediately to the bounty manager.

This is often found. Just write to the campaign manager and tell them that your account is duplicated by the scammer, and the manager in turn will block it.

You could directly report those scammer to the manager of the bounty campaign, and explain that the one that you suspecting as a scammer is using your account profile link to re register in the bounty campaign.

WPP ENERGY - BACKED ASSET GREEN ENERGY TOKEN

To be honest, this is not the first time I heard about it. It happened a lot of times and none of them are getting caught. Yes, they will be banned on the telegram group but that is still not enough to stop them from scamming people. Is there any way for us to report them that will stop them from doing a scam? Or we can just accept the fact the those scammers are just untouchable for us.

Report this Scammer, these guys are the product of greed, just contact the manager and explain to him that this guy is using your data and the manager will ban him from participating the bounty campaign or get blacklisted.

We encourage you to report these scammers to project manager campaign gifts. In order to do the checking in and immediately get on the streak of campaign gifts. These scammers are indeed very making us suffer losses. And we hope the scammer can be diminished or lost.

Whether he’s a legendary or whatsoever, you should just go ahead and report them without wasting time, cause if you don’t report them they will also continue to do that.

You don’t know how long they have doing that and they might used it to cause a lot of problems here for some people, so they best thing you need to do is report them and state what happened properly for the forum managers so they can handle the case.
