So I bought on Biddingpond for a raid card for 0.015 btc. Nice deal right? Nope, now I get this guy emailing me every other day saying the auction was an error and it cost 20x that amount, and everytime I ask for a btc address, I get no response except for him saying "Oh I havent heard from you, Im going to relist the auction."

So, crappy site, crappy users.

Well I don't think any ebay clone would be particularity successful with bitcoin anyway. The problem is that this kind of auctioning encourages such behavior. New concepts are needed, ebay is 10 years old....

I never understood why not simply implement the way a real life auction works. And let the seller decide when he wants to sell the item. And give the highest bidder the option to retract his bid at any time.
The only problem is nobody would be able to get an 'unfair' advantage people seem to like that for whatever reason.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they keep laughing, then they start choking on their laughter, and then they go and catch their breath. Then they start laughing even more.
