Have been searching for decentralised exchanges to trade on for security reasons after watching Andreas M. Antonopoulos - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi_jaw0dT9M .
So far the Bitshares DEX has been the most liquid and what seems as truly p2p but other Ethereum based dexs are potentially good also. Will DEXs really be the future ? Or will centralised exchanges slowly become decentralised.

A decentralized trading platform can limit the risk of losing money to investors because the capital remains in your wallet, not your wallet. However, the limitation is that order matching and processing speed are not as fast as those of binance, bittrex.

Are you sure ? bitshares can handle the speed of the nasdaq and 100,000 trades per second. for decentralised that's epic.

with DEX security in trade is better because there are many very different security with centralized exchange prone with hackers who take investors money.

DEX should be the future, only problem is that CEX which have made a name for themselves in the space aren't interested in going that way. Seems everyone is giving into the wishes of regulators against the peoples. One exchange making effort in this regard is binance. Cryptocurrencies are suppose to be decentralized but no one wants to actually think that decentralized exchanges should also drive this. Thanks to ethereum's efforts at giving room for them. Only problem with ethereum DEX is their little complexity, besides not being easily shutdown, the security of traders funds is key, so I think decentralized exchanges are the future. But until a major player in CEX embraces the idea( at least to support them with the already acquired liquidity/volume) of DEX, we would still be far off. Kudos though to bitshares, crypto-bridge, openledger and binance.

Decentralized exchange will be the future if developers find way, how to increase working speed.
I am sure is the technical problem and it solves with some new blockchain

i don't think centralized exchanges are going anywhere or even changing in the future. they may become more secure but that would be about it.
at the same time decentralized exchanges will grow but as an additional option that you can use if you wanted to go that rout and needed the decentralization. but there is still a lot of downsides to them for example you can not trade with fiat on a decentralized exchange, it still remains easier to use  centralized ones for that matter.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Yes it will be the future most especially if the government didn't approve the legal of cryptocurrency in future or ban it,most traders will move to decentralized exchange.

This is true. Legal and government threat will push for exchange decentralisation. This could be the biggest impetus for trading decentralised.

Good points here. The crypto ecosystem is growing and the platform, services and exchanges will work in the same. One won't take over the other and vice versa. I still think decentralised trading is a cool concept but still a ways to go before it hits the liquidity of centralised exchanges. Enabling Fiat will be a big one in assisting with that.

I'm very sure if the decentralized being used in the future it will highly reduced the risk in the crypto world and at the same time decentralized exchanges will grow but as an additional option that you can use if you wanted to go that rout and needed the decentralization.

I haven't used bitshares dex till now but other ethereum based exchanges are not as secure as they promise to be because there has been several breaches on eth based dex before and some even have lead to massive loss of tokens and eth from users trading account.

Most of the eth dex are just copy paste clones of same script till now so all of them are still vulnerable.

I do not think that the future will be decentralized exchanges for many reasons I will summarize:

 - New investors: Many newcomers do not care about decentralization, they only focus on profits and guaranteed trades, decentralized platforms do not provide this feature.
 - Current situation: So far the trading values of the central platforms are higher.[1]
 - Regulatory decisions: If any market regulation occurs, the central platforms will be preferred.
 - Problems when using those platforms.[2]

I don't think it will be but for sure the interest will increase. While the majority doesn't care about decentralization people looking to avoid regulation will use more DEX. Currently what is stopping people to use it is they don't need yet the advantages related to DEX and secondly regulations are not yet limiting people. Also people usually don't find the decentralized exchange user-friendly

I don't feel too comfortable using the decentralized exchanges. They seem to be more complex with higher transaction fees than the centralized exchanges.

I'm not so sure if they will ever get bigger than the current biggest centralized exchanges, like Coinbase or Bitfinex.
That said, I do think they have a very bright future ahead of themselves. I've been using Bitshares for many years now and they've seen quite a boom lately.

Heck, last week I even saw someone offering to build white label Bitshares exhanges for a fee.

Decentralized exchange will be the future but right now there's only a few dex that's good to use. The problem with dex is right now there's only a little trading volume and there's no liquidity that makes trading harder, people complain about the expensive fees or dodgy action that centralized exchange does but they have a great trading volume and people will prefer it as they can trade easier and the ui is easy to use.

maybe at this time it is true that the amount of fees must be paid, especially if transaction is small. but with decentralization we can send things faster, and this is technological progress

Trying to find the decentralization in the market is really probable where the society is a non-government controlled and people made their own innovative improvements towards the community - thus this is the future of crypto and the present starts now. Market exchanges will be decentralized and even if it is decentralized - it is still the most secure transaction of financial value.
