Positive thinkers of 2011 can be our motivators

Just searching the forum; I found interesting thread of 2011 discussing bitcoin future.  I found many of them were very much positive about acceptability ; price rise etc.  One member forecasting bitcoin crossing $9000 when the price was not even in double digit. 

I am just sharing it with the intention that though some target may seem to unreachable currently but it is achieved in few years.  And if it happened in the past ; there are no reasons why it will not happen again. 

It may be helpful in killing negative thoughts.  And will add to the positive thinkers.

Some interesting quotes in those threads. People selling if it drops to $8 to recover their losses, or commending people for having the patience to wait until $100 to sell to make serious profits.

The parallel with today is obvious. If you are in this for the long-term, then stop worrying about daily price fluctuations. Accept that the tech is revolutionary and not going away - buy, hold, stop checking the price daily, and have patience. Check back in a few years and see where we are. If the guy in those threads who planned to sell at $8 to recover his losses had more patience, he'd be a millionaire today.
