Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

YEEEESSS!!!!! THIS IS ASTRONOMICAL NEWS!!!!!

HE SAID IT TWICE - at the beginning he says:

"We are working on it"

LATER HE SAYS

"We have identified the problem, we are working on this"

THERE YOU HAVE IT.
He must have either:

1) Lost the keys to the cold storage
2) Maybe when they were modding their entire blockchain, they accidently modded their actual wallets too.

Either way - they are "WORKING ON THIS"

Spoken like a true pro.

MY PREDICTION: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=493735.0
IS GOING TO BE TRUE!!!!! HA HA HA HA HAAaaaaaaaa...

Yes, we have identified the problem. It weighs 250 pounds, speaks French and is addicted to frappacinos.
