The most of new altcoins are based on scrypt. Do someone know new coins - not older than 2 weeks - which base on sha256 algorithm?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

preminecoin.. although you can only get TX fees. I've gotten 42 PMC (each valued at .001) but its taken a couple weeks

check out mediterranean coin if you want something new and refreshing. It's not 2 weeks old but the difficulty is still low and the max block reward doesnt start for another 10k blocks.
