I thought I might become Mr. Obvious, but it seems some are incapable of understanding this is just a demo version, without actual projects listed...
OMG, I can't believe I'm actually explaining this...

Or 16,000,000 emc2. It is completely different thing emc2 was almost worthless back then, hence small amount in $.

Im A HODLer too... I Bought 2600 EMC2 at 2 dollars... and im hoping to recover soon!

Sorry, pal, you lost everything. EMC2 is now $0.17 and sinking. Expect it to go sub $0.10.
So There is no hope?

Because one member of BTCtalk say something, it must be true?
If after researching you come to the same conclusion, it might be true for you but not for the team.

The loss of value in $ terms is ampliphied by the crumbling of Bitcoin's price which was around 20,000$ at the time of EMC2's ATH. There's barely a coin out there which didn't lose at least 70% since ATH. The problem is generalized.

For a lot of coins losing only 70% even would have been good. Some are down as much as 90% and even more.
Every day I check the price of Einsteinium and smile. Now it's $0.2, and today +17%! But I remember when it was over $2.

Yes 90% down hurts a lot and gains like +17% aren't really the big push we are hoping for. Going from $2 to $0.2 and then 17% back up still feels bad.
Well, that depends on your entry point. For example, I'm good even with this price. But for me, another thing is more important. IMHO, this coin is heavily undervalued. I see a lot potential in this project. Personally, I haven't sold even when ATH. In fact, still buying at dips.
I know it hurts looking at the charts knowing you bought at ath. I've been there, more than once (not necessarily ath though). I've bought few coins during peak last June/July. Holding ever since. They're recovering slowly. I had a dilemma, whether to cash out with +50% loss per coin, or hodl. I guess if I sold them back then, maybe I'd lost on another buy.
When BTC goes back above $10.000, I'll get my funds back at least, even with alt prices being at the current level.

Point is, if you're confident about the project and you have no idea where you'd be able to surely earn some money (like none of us have), you will lose once you sell.

In 2014 I have bought EMC2 during the very first pump at 600-700 sat, failed to sell at the then ATH of 1200 sats and then as the dump went on I bought more EMC2 all the way down to 50 sats, at which point I finished my money and could not buy more EMC2 as it tanked to 20 and briefly even to 10 sats, with Bitcoin at the same time dropping from $1000+ to $180, which means all my invested FIAT money reduced to virtually zero. Lot of mistakes I did, but I didn't sell and I hodled in a time when the coins was almost dead, without a proper team.
If I survived THAT ordeal, why would now I worry for a banal drop of just 90% from ATH in a time when the team is strong and capable and working for implementing lots of exciting features?

What's the point of this trip down the memory lane? The project will achieve major adoption, Measure the quality of the team about how many cryptocurrencies or tokens they are working on, this is about the work they create. Trapped in speculative hype. Is this where you find the value? Huh

worthless to whom? .. it helped the recipients no? ~ this is the real world examples the "foundation" points to as emc2s' fundamental value/functionality/purpose.. (: ~rub your two brain cells together for a change.  Roll Eyes

Funny little man...
First, you've said it was small amount $ donated overall. When I corrected it wasn't small in terms of total emc2 amount, rather a coin was worth less than a cent at that time (hence "worthless"), you're saying it served its purpose (which it did, I agree on that). What baffles me is what are you actually trying to say. But, I guess, you can't tell either.

First of all, IF you ever got any money, you might or might not get something from whales. I'm sure you didn't get paid from foundation funds.
Second, if you get anything from anyone, you should return that -with interest(!), considering how lousy job you did. I mean, what amount covers sporadic "Emc2 to the moon" post. I guess single Einsteinium would be too much.

I mean, a majority of people here on BCT are adults who know how to think with own head. I perceive those childish shouts of yours as annoying and as such - counterproductive.

Btw, couple weeks ago, you predicted emc2 going bellow 1000 sat. It turned quite the opposite. Let's face it - everything you do, you do it lousy.
Which brings me back to:
