Are old coins no more profitable

Most because investors do not buy past altcoins due to new tokens being released after the ico so here it is that many people invest.

Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

the old coin still profitable but the old coin need to compete with the newcomer and if the old coin can do this, then they can survive in the cryptocurrency. I have no doubt with the old coin because they bring something different than the other coins especially like litecoin, dash, monero, doge. maybe the price of the old coin is down right now but in the future, I am sure that the old coin will rise again and will take a new position in the cryptocurrency. no matter how good the new coin, as long as the old coin can compete then it will bring more profit to us.

For me, they are still profitable especially if they are in the top 50. Investors are still investing on this old coins than those new ones. Coz they still believe that it will boom and sky rocket. They still trust old coins than new coins from new ICO'S  and the main factor is the scamming that happens lately like there are a lot of new ICO's and the dev team just ran away.

I noticed that thing either. After those coins listed to an exchange they seem to get more market cap and people who are buying that coin so it has increased its demand.

Coinmarketcap depends on the ranking through the market cap and that's its name based on.

Volume tells that they are lesser than those new, so their rank goes below and replaced by the new ones that has higher volume / market cap.

it is depend on the activeness of the projects, more old coins are not profitable because of inactive on the dev and the community who supporting it before, but not all old coins are like that. more in top 200 CMC listed are good for gaining profits, but as of now, you cannot see that because of the left and right dip. even bitcoin is suffering a lot of dump on every little pump.

Yes it will still profitable, coins that are in cryptocurrencies are profitable, bitcoin is old but still it is profitable.

Definitely, there are lots of projects which are following their roadmap and may soon get a platform or a testnet launch or other stuff sooner or later. If they are useful then they will be profitable.

With some, yes they aren't worth it anymore. But there are still old coins like eth who are still profitable and still at it's peak becaude of it's successful projects. And because a lot of coins are developed and popping out, some old coins are being set aside, giving new coins a chance to improve and to be known for a while.

Old coins are still more profitable but not in general in my opionion because they are more reliable than newer coins. They also have experienced developers and team to tackle every new obstacles in the blockchain space. Coins are build with different ideas to solve existing problems and I believe they have potential and use in the space more than just making a profit.

Old coins, depend on what coin is that. If old coin like Ethereum i think still worth to hold. But for other coin especially not famous one, hold it have risk to get delisted from market especially if don't have daily volume

It all depend on the project idea behind the coin which will inverably affect the value of the coin, some coins are backed up by good project ideas in such a situation the coin can rise up anytime any-day the project booms.

here shows that cryptocurrency also experiences development internally,

I don't think so, overall everything went down by a lot. It's just the market. You should do some research on the ones you are interested in because there is also a lot of abandoned projects so that could also play a part in specific projects that went down a lot.

Alt coins are like most fashion trends, which is that most "new" fashions/Alt coins gets a lot of attention when it is new, but the interest fade away over time. Some old fashions/Alt coins come into fashion again, when someone shine a light on them or when they get pumped. So it is all about the marketing/pumping of these Alt coins or if some popular platform starts to accept those coins for some reason.

Some fashions/coins always stay in fashion... like Bitcoin and Jeans.

i dont think so, i think even the old altcoins are also profitable. holding your old coins is one of the stategy of a users. wait for the perfect timing to trade your coins if the market value is high

It all depends on the type of project and coin/token. Yes, the older ones might carry a little less risk if they are projects that have huge teams and big communities and have established themselves, but on the other hand, as this is a fast-paced technological industry, you get some new gems that come along and are great opportunities to invest in as well. I have seen both older and newer projects fail and equally, I have seen old and new projects do really well, so it's really the luck of the draw, to be honest. I am no real expert but I do try to do my due diligence on stuff before I invest my very hard earned money. I think everyone must do their own due diligence first before ever investing in emerging tech and high-risk investment products.

old coins is still profitable i feel in my opinion only ico's is quick run money game but stable and long time running only the old projects and old coins still surviving in the bear market they are low at current point because of market is not stable but what goes down will come up again  so patience is only virtue in the crypto currency at this point of time all crypto currency coins down at the moment but with good concept good project and good vision  the coins will be have advantage, but those don't have great concept or not good project will surely failed .

i dont think so, i think even the old altcoins are also profitable. holding your old coins is one of the stategy of a users. wait for the perfect timing to trade your coins if the market value is high

I think it depends upon the coin. If the old coin is a fast growing coin and has a constant change from the start then I believe that we must hold the coin for good. But there e are also profitable coin on the feild that we didn't need to hold. So then I believe that everything really depends on the coin and it doesn't matter whether it is old or new.

I think, even though there are lots of new coins that have good prospects but I think old coins are still profitable as long as the coin still has good movement and many investors are interested and invest in the coin

It differs from coin to coin, I have seen a coin with a big hype on its first two months but after that the coin's value drop and I have seen coin that I never heard or read before but they have become a very profitable coin in the market, still up on how the coin developed overtime
