Any altcoin can displace ETH down. I did not notice specific facts and confirmations in your article, and I think that this will not happen  Undecided Undecided

To become a replacement for the Etherium, a coin of the EOS is more likely, because it has many more advantages over the Ether.

Cardano has a chance to become the second ethereum or even get around in technology and popularity. An excellent idea of combining different technologies. Let's see the implementation of the project.

Beware of other coin cruncher because another coin is also coming onboard to cruncher it. It is not a big deal a another altcoin override wtgereum. But the big deal will be if the said coin is not be following the price trend of ethereum.

If cardano will have more capital and popularity than ETH, then it has a chance.

Cardano can replace  Ethereum, but this is not a prospect for the near future. After all, the coin itself has not even started using its outlined potential. In terms of Cardano's work, as a third-generation coin, he takes into account the errors of his predecessors, but it will not be possible to reach their level soon.

ETH is a very strong and promising coin. It will not be replaced so easily.

If Cardano has to beat eth, then it needs to go a long way at first.

Currently, it is unlikely to be achieved. After all, ETH knows more people. Unless there are any special changes, technical improvements, team changes, etc., there are more places to change. But I think this is unlikely to be achieved.

Yes, I thiink so. A lot of ICO`s works on the ERC20 frameworks, so ADA needs to overtake etherium by this first to replace him.

Ethereum and cardano both are good potential coins. Both have strong network but ethereum one is more widely used. Ethereum has been in market for long and has established its own space. However with the advent of new and new coins like cardano Ethereum's position is in danger and recent slump in its prices have sparked fear among investors.

I doubt it a lot, and above all with those prices, besides that ETH has much stronger competencies, like EOS or NEO, that can be much more useful in the market, at the end of the day I believe that ETH will continue having the crown of the alts for much longer.

It sounds reasonable that Cardano will take a large chunk of the market that ethereum currently occupy as there is so much uncertainty around ether at the moment, hope it wont be too brutal

Maybe in the future, but currently cardano is considered the 3rd gen blockchain. Bitcoin is first gen blockchain and Ethereum the 2nd generation. Currently Ethereum is leading in second generation, so i think that cardano will be leading 3rd gen blockchain untill it is started to be adopted by more and more people and ofcourse cardano still needs to go a long way.

This is also a very interesting comments. By growing technology, the better the new will replace the old one. So many platforms such as ADA, NEO, EOS, ... all want to replace ETH; but until we have a strong background, can replace it. I hope in the future, there will be a better platform so users can use more quickly and easily

Cardano is considered a third generation blockchain. Ethanol is the second generation. Because Cardano was born afterwards, more features outweighed previous generations: high self-awareness , find out the disadvantages and difficulties of the project. That helps us to invest well.
