anything in the world can happen if it is desired and has become its destiny, but it is true what you say by looking at situations and conditions that many people might think Ethereum cannot be replaced by anyone for now. Ethereum is the best Altcoin that has great potential and many use the Ethereum platform. Cardano may be better in the future and become more popular but in my opinion he can't replace Ethereum for now, either in a very long time.

Future can be told after we seen the results, but as a potential coin there's no question about ADA, in terms of replacing ETH a lots to  discuss regarding to that matter, ADA needs to have  wide supports in order to surpass what ETH already delivered and as a platform still most of ICO projects recognized ETH as a main platform to build their projects so time will only tell if how cardano can surpass ETH in the future.

I think the right to replace ethereum is EOS or Stellar. Cardano is still too early to be able to position ethereum. Moreover, I am sure that ethereum will not remain silent if its position is threatened, so there must be resistance from ethereum.

I don't thin so. Ripple has all chances to take second place after bitcoin. For some investors cardano is good but ripple is better)
