Try to watch Cardano Cap at Jan '18. It was much more than today  But I see another scenario. If ICO's will die and STO also don't get enough popularity then Eth can become less valuable because of use cases. And in this case, other projects can take this place. Maybe Cardano, maybe someone else
I accumulate DACC. This is not ETH or Cardano competitor but promising project with good background

What is surprising if this really happens, is ethereum now its popularity really declining? as we know ripple is now in second position shifting ethereum, I don't know whether this cardano can shift ethereum or not after the ripple

Cardano will not be able to replace Ethereum.  Ethereum is widely used for ICO projects that use ERC20 smart contracts. Even if we are now experiencing a huge dip I still believe that the ethereum will really rise soon.

I thought it's still too fast for cardano to do that, from the price that lags far behind, it will greatly affects the marketcap volume and make him true difficult to replace eth. To get 1 eth, Cardano will need arround 3K coins. A lot for cardano, but it's so small for eth.

Cardano is the project that I love and I have invested already around 500 USD. Hope to see ADA rising like a bamboo. I dont think that ADA will replace ETH, but I think Cardano has amazing future and the current price is undervalued!

Cardona is really effective and particular coin for market but Ethereum has a good position because of it and Bitcoin are basic coins of market. So both sides are powerfull according to different perspective but i think we can see different table in 2 years.

In my opinion, cardano can never replace ethereum. Ethereum technology is better than cardano. It is very difficult for cardano to replace ethereum. Ethereum is an almost perfect crypto currency coin. Technologically, in my opinion ethereum deserves to be the top and cardano cannot replace it. Ethereum is very potential because now we can see that more and more people are using ethereum especially ICO. Most ICOs choose to hitch a ride on the ethereum blockchain rather than creating a new system. Honestly speaking, I think the next great project that can overtake ETH and spearhead a new market bullish trend should bring in something new we never knew before. Like how ETH brought the smart contract that made launching of ICO very easy and simple.

the State owned Cardano continues to undergo development and progress that continued to rise with the increase that regularly occur and improvements continued incrementally with a difficult situation. This ability makes the Cardano will be very capable to take over the Ethereum.

Not only Cardano who was obsessed to defeating ETH, because previously there were many alt-coins (Neo, Eos, Litecoin, Monero, etc.) that were rumored to be similar, but in fact until now, their popularity was still below ETH. You must know, Cardano users have not been how much if compared to ETH users, and besides ETH's performance and achievements have not been defeated by coins which have been ETH competitors, even now more widely used by ICO projects than alt-coins others. I think, this fact is absolute and we cannot deny it.

Well, when many people write that the killer and came to replace , this is usually the project is more words than deeds , I don't think I will replace the Ethereum , Ethereum has already happened and was the first of its kind this is unlikely to replace it
