The CEO of Cardano has an obsession to put ETH into the gutter!

https://ambcrypto.com/cardano-ada-is-planning-to-replace-ethereum-eth-marlowe-to-take-over/

Cardano has the technology and capabilities to destroy ETH and some other coins in the top 20: Make no mistake Cardano is a giant slayer!

When the new platforms built their system , they usually take one famous platform like as Ethereum to compare what they can do to overcome this platform, but in the future, there will be no any platform is replaced , they will survive and develope together
Today, there are quite a few competitors at Ethereum, and each of these projects offers some of its own nuances, which are individual and which the team focuses on. But if you look at the real needs of the cryptocurrency market, then in general everything

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

ada/cardano is a good coin with lots of potential to beat eth upfront but in terms of popularity and adoption i think eth is still the winner  .  eth is also the main altcoin and if there is no eth , i  dont think that there will be cardano or any other altcoins alive right now  .  that is why we should respect eth and we should not under estimate it even if eth is in a critical state  .

I think this will be a little difficult because now I have a lot of competition in blockchain development, but only a few are received by the community

with the weakening of eth at the moment, it is possible that the chances of other coins to defeat him are also big because, eth prices continue to decline so that the cardano can overtake it, indeed I currently admit the best cardano coin also in removing other coins.

How Cardano will replace Ethereum??
Ethereum has a big community also has a good ecosystem, many new ICOs use Ethereum Blockchain. Ethereum will be used for GAS in every transaction by all people Smiley I think Ethereum is the most ecosystem which it can be used on many platforms or companies in the future as Blockchain, 5G Network, Industry 4.0 has a great systems

Strongly disagree with you, because I do not believe that the market today will support ADA because today the ETH project starts its uprising, pay attention to how it starts to rise from its knees. Today is his time and he must come to power again.

From what I know, the development of the ADA coin is not so striking and not very active. So that makes ADA less skilled in attracting many investors and also their communities. That is certainly different from ETH, which is very productive in carrying out its development. This will make ADA difficult to replace ETH.

I don't think that really happens, Cardano is not even a crypt under many definitions of the word, so they are not really in the same competition, the only thing they agree is in the market share because in philosophy or utility they are very different currencies.

Cardano have a good potential, team, community. But this project is not ETH competitor at least in the closest year. They should make all promising and planning. And I think Cardano positioning is different. Not competition

Although cardano is a good coin and with potential to rise but i think is not enough to surpass ethereum because ethereum is the most invested crypto today next to bitcoin and is currently use by so many project platforms for their transfer transactions and aside from that it also holds as the second crypto with the highest market capitalization which i believe its hard for cardano to compete.

I agree with you the other reasons cardano will be difficult for replace ethereum, mostly people know more about the ethereum as smart contract and decentralize application dapps platform than cardano. Ethereum is more popular than cardano also capitalization of marketcap is largest than cardano we can check about it on here: https://coinmarketcap.com and other information about ethereum and cardano is available on there.

Ethereum is the most implemented ico platform, has a large community, has the most supporters. I think Cardano can't go beyond ethereum easily. Ethereum is the King of ICO. At this time.

I fully support this opinion, because I also believe that the ADA project today is nothing more than just news or just a promise. Today, this is an empty place and it is simply meaningless to compare with already existing projects. I think that's all.

I do not think that in 2019 the situation will change so much that Cardano will be able to replace Ethereum. Of course I understand that Ethereum is weak now, but this is will change.
I think, in 2019, the top coins which place occupied in the rating of cryptocurrency, this will take. The price of the coin and its capitalization will change.

Cardano is a good project, but I don't think it can replace ETH. ETH is has more utility, more DApps, solid and experienced team on the verge of making ETH more faster thus more scalable.

In this area everything might happen, I don't surprise if ETH will give its place to another coin. Speaking about this situation, I think that ETH is completely fully entrenched in its place and will not give up to someone.
Ethereum has already given way to second place Ripple on the amount of capitalization. But this does not mean that Ethereum can still overtake someone.

I don't believe if cardano can replace ethereum. In my opinion, ethereum is difficult to destroy because technically, ethereum is almost perfect. Cardano is too far when compared with ethereum technology. Ethereum is now often said to be the king of ICO, of course this makes the ethereum even stronger. Ethereum's strength is getting bigger when ethereum increasingly benefits by providing blockchain rides for projects that want to build their blockchain-based projects at low prices and easy processes. I am sure that in the future ethereum will be more potential and not easy to destroy especially by cardano. That is a bit of my idea.

With the next update of ethereum which put a lot of result to the scalability to provide the best manufacture for the business and i guess sharding of cardano means nothing. Serenity is on the way and another hardfork will come in the future.

I think it's too early to say that Ada will replace ethereum, Ada still have a long way to go, they still have a lot to prove in terms of their network stability, eth network is more stable, tested and trusted by many.

I think the Ethereum will fall. Cardano is a very strong project that is supported by the Chinese government, and as we know in the crypto industry, government support is very important so it can help attract investors.

That's the same reason why I believe in XRP in the long term, Japanese banks are very interested to use Ripple, so for now this is worth getting some XRP (in my humble opinion).

Could be the same thing with Cardano.

I was a strong supporter of Ethereum before but it kept letting me down.
