Holding is very easy to motivate when you look at the percentage growth of top altcoins for the entire time of their existence

I am motivated to hold when I think the project has potential and will grow massively in the future. This in turn give me good profit to live comfortably.

Hodl is always not a right decision to make but most of the time is. I think enough knowledge and confidence on your investment causes you to hold for long till you get the Trump move and make the right decision at the right time.

Keeping my eyes on the prize makes me focus more on the goal. That is my very reason and what keeps me motivate to still  hold my coins regardless of the market status right now. I still know and believe that the tides will turn and the prices will soar high again.

i think most of us, dreaming to be rich in future. That's the common motivation, what else can be?  We are hodling tokens for money. Any different idea?

We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

I am trying to analyze the market as a determinant of decision making in holding or disposing. I keep holding because I am sure that the project or coin is potential based on the results of the analysis.

My motivation to make me hold is because I've lost my money, so I hold it and believe the market will recover.

For me, the main motivation is that a few months ago I could sell my coins for $ 5000 and now they cost $ 1000. I do not see any reason to sell now, even if the fall continues. I do not think that this market will die, many influential people have big assets here, so I decided to just hold.

if your coin is not an etherium, then probably you should not expect its promotion into the upper layers of the coinmarket. In any case, only the most rated coins will be able to withstand the current situation on the crypto-currency market.

I'm a firm believer of long-term hold of cryptocurrency. Trading and shorting could be quite tasking and sieves out the peace on ones mind owing to the fact that losses are imminent, but holding gives you an assurance of future higher return and you don't need to burden yourself with market swings. It's better to hold cryptocurrency with high market capitalisation for long term. Holding ICO tokens for long term could be disastrous.

there are many things that we can be motivated to survive by discussing and sharing information on tread and I believe in what I invest in quality coins and have a future, it is indeed difficult to keep believing and surviving. in predicting and discussing it is not all accurate but in this case it is very important to be a reference in following the progress of ico.

There are many motives that make me to keep me going, and hodl my coins. The main reason is the possibility of becoming really wealthy and save me a lot of time working, the other is the very long term effect that crypto has as I believe it will really shape the world around it.
We live, we hope. Nothing can last forever. Like that we learn to be patient, which is a great skill to have. I hope that the market will resurge soon, maybe not by the end of 2018, but next year for sure. The alternative is it will stay like that because that's its realistic condition.

my motivated to hold is because I don't have any option to sell if the market is down and only makes me get the loss but once the market can increase higher than the price I bought, I will sell the coins to release my money. I don't know how long I will hold but as soon as the market can back to the higher price, then it means my time to sell the coins is comes. I think the other people will think the same as me because they cannot get a profit if they sell at the low price.

My motivation for hodling altcoins and bitcoins is my belief that cryptocurrencies will be future of money, just like the internet and emails in the 90's. and also the prices because I believe that in the future the coins that I'm hodling will surpass its previous all time high because of the development of the project, its uses and its working product.

personally, I prefer to hold the coins that I have rather than have to sell them at a low price because I think that will make us lose. we know that crypto prices are not stable. I also believe that the price of crypto will rise again but we don't know when it will happen because we cannot predict market prices.
