What keeps you motivated to Hodl?

Hold my coins for several months or even years motivated by my belief in the crypto currency. It seems to me that in a few years the crypto currency will be very popular and expensive.

My motivation is my earnings, I'm waiting, since there's no other way out when the market gets up and I sell all my coins!

For some coins i have, i am motivated because i see the price rise in certain periods. And for some other coins i am forced to hold because the price dropped under my purchase price. I mean like a big drop, so for me it is not smart to sell that low. But overall i am a hodler because i think longterm for this investment and not looking for shortterm profits.

I invested in cryptocurrencies initially only in the long-term. I believe in cryptocurrencies and I think that prices will rise someday. I'll just have to wait. Also I don't want to sell coins at a loss

My biggest motivation to stay afloat is because I have no choice but to sell if the market is down and it only makes me lose, but after the market can rise higher than the price I bought, I will sell coins to release the money I had at that time. I don't know how long I will last, but once the market returns to a higher price, that's where I will take it. So that means my time to sell coins comes. I think other people will think the same and will do the same with me, because they cannot make a profit if they sell at a low price. That has become a fact that we cannot avoid so far.

It keeps me motivated to hodl my coins because I am looking forward to profit from it big time one day! As I see it is not just coins but for me I treat it as an asset which will bring honey and bacon to me soon!

As per the question if are we assure about hodling our coins, maybe no one really is certain but it is better to hope than get nothing for as the saying goes "aim for the stars, you may land in the moon"

I hope your words are true cause it's really hard to wait when your portfolio is reduced by 10-15% and fall again and again after a slight recovery. Hopefully, winter will be saving. If not, we'll have to wait at least 6 months!

well what motivates me to hold is the lesson i learnt from the guy whom used 10,000 Bitcoins to purchase two pizza's. The lesson i learnt from that was any so called shitcoin today might make you a millionaire some day. so it's best to HODL

I have the confidence that price will increase, it can take some time but it will increase for sure. This is the main motivation for me to hodl my coins in the deep market!   I have enough experience about the crypto market. I saw how bitcoin price went to 200 USD from 1K USD!       Yes holding is the right direction for this time of cryptocurrencies which price is very low so for all investor who are holding their coin s , it seems they are in the right direction , so just wait for the green Market .

I'm not a hodler myself on the investor's definition and time range. The relativity of my position is based on the technical side. That if I applied it on this reasoning, it needs to fall below my bias. However if you think of it without any biases, you would just have to rely your faith on the performance and progress of the project itself.

What happened last year is enough for us to be motivated to hold. The market value last year increased continuously despite of the backdrops in the middle of that year. On the present year, downtrend again took place. The thoughts of investing and holding no matter how bad the situation is, came from the profit that many peoplr have earned at the end of the previous years and also, since it is a given fact that dumps are temporary.
