What keeps you motivated to Hodl?

The most important reason for me is age of this market - it is very young, and more you hold - more you get after all world will accept crypto as next generation of money and new economic motion(nem also lol). All this price movements(even ath on $20k) will seem miserable a few years later

I thought that's enough, crypto just need more regulation to support its way, even it's a young thing but we know that this tech will have needed by a lot of people in the future. Crypto change the next economic model to be more decentralized and transparency. I thought that you have known about that dude.

Right now main thing that keeps me hodl is that my coins that I hold are not worth shit and I dont have many other options than to hodl!

Historical charts keeps motivating me. The other point is my understanding of blockchain.I know we will continue to use blockchain beucase some huge benefits for humanity. Also i believe we will see some bull markets in the future because the last one cant be the final one. Crypto have room to growth still.

I believed most of them who Hodl are motivated by bitcoin 5 years ago. But in our current market situation I don't believe it anymore. I hodl not because I'm motivated, I hodl because I know the purpose and potential of it. I carefully choose which one because there are many sweet words behind every coin and full of promise. Investors now are getting smarter how to hodl.

Your may right, if not believe on it, no one will Hodl their altcoins. I bet everyone have their own reason why they hodl different altcoin and have another way to see the purpose and the potential. Even though the market situation for now so bad, but I think every altcoin have their chance to get rise and they may rise anytime with unpredictably.

It depends on the token and market situation.

1. There are some coins that i would like to sell, but the price is just too damn low. For some of them I am looking for opportunities to get out.
2. The other group of coins are those who I belive in strongly, in most cases these are the projects which are in the early stages.

The motivation for holding assets during the period of decline is that this period will not always last. There will be times when the crypto will recover and raise all the prices of coins that have fallen badly. The time needed is not yet predictable until when, but by holding the right assets, there will be many benefits and surprises there.

This situation is simply a challenge. This is just the same situation when the time internet was just starting. I hold my altcoins, because I have great dreams. Generally, the fast money is a very great motivation source for me, but if we are talking about the cryptocurrencies, I can clearly say that good dreams are the greatest motivations for me.

The motivation comes from studying the history of Bitcoin and some other altcoins which managed to cross over bad times in the past. This space has great growth potential considering that we are still in the early stages.

Yes i agree with you,  last month i was losing hope in doing bitcoin but whenever i study the graph and seeing the fluctuations specially in november it really motivates me to hold and continue doing this.

Hold and being patient is the key to gain more profit,  so i keep on holding.

I believe on what the crypto currency can do in the future and you must have enough knowledge before investing so that your money would not be wasted, I trust crypto currency because it change the lives of many people since the beginning it was started, just believe and trust and everything will take place for a perfect time and reason.

My motivation to hold for long term on my coin is because project need time for growing. Beside that, cryptocurrency market still new market and still at early stage. I am believe in near future, crypto market cap value will growing bigger and reach trillion dollar, and if that happen most coin in market will increase

the only reason I did hold because I lost almost 20% of the money I had. I hold them with confidence up or at least I minimize my losses to 5% - 10%. many people do panic selling but they also regret doing it, so I don't do the same thing. that is why I don't panic sell, and also hope there will be bullish so I can get a profit with hold.

Bitcoin makes me hodl and trust crypto. Just look at what happened to bitcoin in 9years, from $.08 July 2010 to now $6500 today and this makes me believe that we're into something big. No one believes in bitcoin before but now it's the major cryptocurrency and people acknowledging and starting to adopt not just bitcoin but also major altcoin.

Volatility is one of characteristic of crypto like stock, we can never really be accurate but just learn how it moves and take the risk.

i very much hope that in three or five years crypto is worth much more than today. the forecasts are good. i buy in dipp and then keep the coins for a few years. and in 5 years i will see if it was right.
