Hello, do you know about some recent bounty campaign which pays bounty hunters in Ethers?
It seems to be more profitable to receive Ethers than tokens in these bad days, market is crashing and people are selling everything.

Do you mean directly in ETH?

There is one suspicious signature campaign with some complaints:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4898414.0

I don't know the current status and if all participants are being paid.

There was another campaign with payments in ETH:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4415424.0

But it's over now.

yep , totaly aggree,
if u be a CEO of some project,
the better ways is give the bounty participant ETH as a reward.
because , if u give ur token
i believe the bounty participant will sell it quickly
considering the situation right now,
and that of course, ur token will dropped more than ico price.

It could be done, but all decisions is all up to the creator of the token whether they want it to be payed in token or through eth. Recently there are campaigns that offer a reward in bitcoins but I haven't seen or joined campaigns which pays eth.

Yes, I've met two campaigns over the past few months that they promised to pay by ETH. One was called Metahesh, and I forgot the name of the second one. But both of these campaigns I really did not like the fact that they did not specify the deadline for the ICO. And also members of the signature bounty were not allowed to leave this campaign ahead of schedule. It seemed to me that this could turn into a kind of trap when you can not stay in this campaign for too long, and if you can not stand it and go away, you will not get paid. So I did not choose any of them.

On contrary, distributing tokens to bounty participants is a wise move to get an active community to trade the tokens as a start. The more tokens they release to bounty hunters, then the higher the volume it will get once it hits the exchanges.

Giving Ethereum as a reward will not be as profitable to the project team compared to the bounty participants. I believe that the main objective of bounties is to distribute the tokens while they get advertisements as exchange while trying to crowdfund the project. Where will they get the ETH to pay the bounty hunters if they are hosting an ICO to gather funds in the first place? Unless they will pay ETH at the end of the ICO which is reasonable.

I just wish bounties atleast have an escrowed fund to cover for the payments in any case that an ICO may fail or if the coin didn't reach it's original ICO value.

Now it is very difficult to get paid pm ETH because no campaign is willing to take money out of their pocket to finance the bounties, that is the problem we see now and that is why many that end up failing do not meet their payment, because they simply do not have the money, before it was simpler because the market was on the rise and everyone had money, besides they did not know very well how to create their own tokens.

There are sometimes bounties, which pay mixed currencies, mostly ICO coin and Bitcoin.
Just search yourself with following steps:
1. Go to Altcoin Bounties https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
2. Type in on top right into the searching field ETH (or BTC). ETH is more difficult to find than BTC, because tokens often are on ETH network.

I have not come across a bounty campaign that reward bounty hunter with ethereum. They do pay with their issue token then when ever they are listed in an exchange they sell and collect ethereum or bitcoin.

Payment in ETH is a good idea, but very few projects will like to pay their bounty hunters in ETH rather than their tokens. I recently saw a project that was paying in ETH, at least there were transaction hashs posted on the thread to confirm payment. If this can be adopted by every ICO, then bounty hunters will be the better for it.

I would like to participate in such bounty too. At least there won't be any fear of dump. Also investors will be free to do whatever they like with their tokens.

Received rewards in ethers are more profitable as its outcome is more certain. I think metahash bounty pays in eth. You can search it out

There are so many campaigns out there paying eth you're right because most altcoin when they are listed expect a big dump from bounty hunters

Thank you guys, but it will be more helpful if you provide exact link to the exact bounty which is paying bounty hunters in Ethers. Not only discussing or giving advices where to find it Smiley.

Actually this is a good decision I think because tokens have lots of issues and you need to depend on miners based on this Coin is quite safe and beneficial also it’s a good idea based on this it can be a good event also.

I agree with you. The market is not in a good condition right now. It would be better if the bounties were paid with Ether. Because only then, the bounty hunters would save up their coin instead of selling of the tokens in the market.

there are rarely bounties who pay using eth, most of them pay using their coins or tokens. I've only found 1 bounty whose method of payment is to participants using ethereum, and even then it's been a long time, if not mistaken at the end of last year, namely the bounty of the cryptotask.

Switching from tokens to coins is a good idea. It is a more viable form and given the condition of the market, it might be a good turn of events too.

This does seem like a good idea. Sadly only a handful number of projects will do this, i.e. payments in ETH instead of tokens. The only known one is metahash bounty which pays in ETH.
