Hello everyone, Today i'd like to share my story.
So in 2017 in sept, I first mined some electroneum coins and they were worth like $200 later, I as a student couldn't afford to buy Bitcoins for trading or holding, So mining did helped me ETN was a good coin, i would mine like 50 a day and it turned 20cents each, I got addicted to crypto and trading but i was scared to trade and lose those 200$ because then i'd have nothing, So from Sept to Nov, i'd just watch graphs and look at coins, Watch videos, try to learn trading and everything and in December i started trading and you guys know what happened at December 2017, But i was prepared so my $200 turned into like $150, still a loss but anyway.
But it went like this and i kept trading and everything, and i was in love with it...... Sadly in my Exams, I failed 3 papers in total 5... Because of Crypto, it takes you away from Real world, So i was disapointed because of it.
Now i trade carelessly without emotions, and i went above $200.. I saw many times and now experience told me its true that trading is 10% skills, 10% luck, 10% patience and 70% emotions....

good luck and enjoy your lives and don't ruin anything.

Edit: I still have high hopes from Crypto and i think this will change my life and i'll be not worrying about Studies later, But like people say "Don't put everything in one Basket" , so always have a backup. Study is my first priority and Bitcoin can be my side struggle and with luck and hard work, i might not have to worry about studies then.

It's pretty stupid that you blame your activities in crypto with your studies while you shouldn't in the very first place since you're still studying tho I started like you but never blame anyone or crypto with my actions in the real world or here.
But you learn something from your mistakes and you earn even more which is a good one.

It is very dangerous. If $100 become $1000 in 3 years who will do 8 hours jobs.

20% profit a year is legitimate which is given by investment in Gold and Silver coins and bars. Have a look at this.

Russian central banks purchased 27 tonnes gold in July 2018. Why do Central banks buy Gold ??

Cars are dangerous. Cricket bats are dangerous. Bread knives are dangerous. Anything is dangerous if you don't know what you're doing and are reckless with them. When you trade you're essentially gambling so people need to realize that because we all know gambling can be dangerous too and if you're reckless or don't know what you're doing then you can lose your investment very quickly, but this isn't limited to bitcoin or crypto. It applies to all investments and people need to realize crypto isn't a magical money making system.

C'mon now, don't blame cryptos, if you actually cared about your studies, you would've focused entirely on those exams rather than trying to make more money with cryptocurrencies.

"Crypto is dangerous"...no, it isn't. Just get your priorities straight and you'll be fine.

Crypto has both good side and bad side. Cryptocurrency decentralised nature is the main reason behind its bad side. Because of its decentralised nature it does not under control of any kind of authority or government and because of this no one notice its illegal production which help illegal activities. Cryptocurrency untraceable transaction also supports some criminal activities like kidnapping, murdering, child pronography etc. In resent some times ago the malware attack were happen directly link with cryptocurrency like bitcoin.

Many trollers we can see in this forum. Nothing we can do with them we just need to avoid and concentrate our work. Others whoever see the spams about the cryptocurrencies needed to reported.

We don't worry about the people whoever trolling cryptocurrencies. If mods team take look these kind of trollers then I will be happy.

Why are you generalizing and saying crypto is dangerous even though all you were involved with was some altcoin? Cryptocurrencies don't influence your life and decisions. They are nothing but inanimate objects that can be used by everyone in whatever way they want to. If you tripped on a rock, would you say rocks are dangerous?

good luck and enjoy your lives and don't ruin anything.

It's not about crypto at all...It's your greed to earn money over studying that failed you in exam. I know you are probably not directly blaming cryptos but I found an essence of negativity in your statement. For me trading is 80% strategy,10% emotion and 10% luck! Buy cheap and sell high is main strategy but there are various ways to execute that. Try to educate yourself in trading and you will understand that emotion means very little in trading. I am a veteran in trading and I have also faced similar kind of downfalls in my life. But when I started educating myself in trading, the picture changed from tip to toe!

Think about how much future income you may have cost yourself for such small amounts of money. If you do the math you'd probably see how silly it was to bother playing around like that.

even the most dangerous of things that have been certified by renowned agencies as dangerous is said to be dangerous to only people who are yet to know how it works and how to work around it. crypto is dangerous until you know how to go about it and how it works

It's quite unfair of you to blame your failure in your academic on cryptocurrency because you are to be in charge of managing your time, there is time for everything you should have divided your time 70% to your real world and academic pursuit and 30% to other things which cryptocurrency is one among them. So am made bold to say that your failure is not as a result of your investment of time in crypto but your inability to manage your time.

Crypto is dangerous to those who want it to be for them.  You cannot go into crypto when you are not a risk bearer.  They said the most successful people on earth is the people who are risk bearers they survive because they determine to take the risk... For me the crypto world is not dangerous the way other see it but it is an investment that needs matured minds

Not the crypto is dangerous, dangerous is trading. Recently i thought that crypto dangerous for banks, but actually, it's not. Banks will *buy* that technology, as they print money and suck money from the people. Trading is dangerous for us more than banks Smiley

Why and how is it dangerous, it is only dangerous to you because you might not know too well about it. And it depends on what you do with it.
BTW, it seems like you have lost some before.

What you have said is bullshit. What will happen if we stop trading? TRADING is dangerous?! Making money is not child's play. Trading is always risky. If you dont understand how to trade you need to learn first. No trading means zero volume, means dead coins.
And what do you want to say about printing money and blockchain tech?

My point was the same, Its dangerous if you let it.
The good thing is i get to give the papers again so i just learned a free lesson, with no bad effect or anything. But now like i said, i learned the lesson, This was just to tell people who are going with same situation to not make it everything for you...

Now i'm going to give the papers again, So my future is perfectly safe (For those who said i destroyed my future for $200).
Let this post be here though, in my here all i need is $20000 for me to live my life easily without working or anything, So is it possible to turn these now $280 into $20000 ?
